Instead of the traditional Thanksgiving, my family goes to the Cowboys game. It's a tradition my mom and I cherish and look forward to every year. But last year my mom was diagnosed with cervical cancer and our tradition came to a halt. It was the most difficult thing I've had to experience. To lighten her spirits we had "Tailgates-giving" with game day food and everyone in jerseys and we watched the game from home. Thankfully, she is cancer free and we can't wait to watch OUR BOYS this year!
