Create a :30 TrueView video for Industrious, a flexible workplace service, to educate their customer base about the benefits of their services, and help lure employees into the office.

NOTE: This project must be shot at one of the approved locations in either the Los Angeles or Washington DC areas. No additional budget for travel will be provided. Please see more details about the locations in the Background section.

Industrious is a flexible workplace partner that provides all-inclusive solutions and a holistic workplace experience that lures/motivates people to go into the office. It provides companies with thoughtfully-designed spaces and best-in-class services to support productivity and engagement and help employees feel connected to one another again. Their approach includes coworking, private offices, large team suites, and meeting rooms that  are available on flexible terms (compared to a traditional lease) in 65 cities worldwide. In the future of work – when, where, and how we decide to gather in work settings matters.

Industrious is looking for a :30 live action lifestyle video that helps captivate employees and entice them to be back at the office. The goal is to show them the benefits of returning to the office part time, but without vilifying work from home models. Industrious wants to position itself as the ideal alternative in a hybrid work future, providing a comfortable environment for employees that ultimately enhances productivity and strikes the right balance with  work from home models. Educating the audience is key, as we dawn upon a new era of work.

Please see key messages in the Background for an idea of messaging priorities, and feel free to ask questions in the Forum.

DELIVERABLES: Four total deliverables:

  • One :30 video (16x9)
  • One :30 alternate version (16x9)
  • One :06 bumper (16x9)
  • One :06 alternate version (16x9)
  • Alternate versions will involve the same characters, locations, and script, and will mostly involve small changes that can be handled in post-production, including changes to CTAs, end-card designs, on-screen text copy, and other minor edits. Additionally, depending on where the creative lands, a version may include a slight variation to the script. This will be decided between the selected producer and client during scripting.

KEY MESSAGES:

  • All-inclusive means all-inclusive - Industrious bundles its amenities and services into one transparent, predictable, reliable monthly fee to create a truly all-inclusive experience. Because we use Youtube for retargeting, customers are likely researching our competitors at the same time and this is a great differentiator that we absolutely want to highlight in this video.
  • Flexible membership options and terms - Their Access membership (coworking) allows members to reserve an open workspace or private office on the days they want to while their Dedicated Memberships offer private offices and suites for teams of all sizes. Their flexible terms allow companies to grow and contract as needed in this hybrid world of work and choose the option that works best for their business needs.
  • Highest-rated in customer satisfaction - Industrious’ dedicated on-site teams provide best-in-class, concierge-level hospitality services. They create great days for their  members by solving problems day-in, day-out; taking care of them so they can take care of their business. Helping businesses be productive and successful is how we motivate people to go into the office.

ABOUT INDUSTRIOUS:

Following the pandemic, organizations of all sizes are more inclined to employ hybrid working models, or modes of work where employees spend part of their time working remotely, and part of their time reporting into a designated office location. Eliminating the commute is one reason why. Another? Balance. 64% of adults who currently work from home say that working from home has made it easier to balance work and personal life. Organizations are now bringing greater scrutiny to the role “the office” plays in workplace experience, as a result of two years of disruption, a relatively slow “return to work,” and the rise of hybrid working models.

Pro-hybrid attitudes are now so entrenched in the current labor force (particularly with Millennial and Gen Z workers)that research shows most of the workforce would consider looking for another job if their current employer insisted on returning to the workplace full time.

However that equilibrium comes at the cost of feeling connected to coworkers. Employees report wanting to return to the office for: face-to-face collaboration, access to tools, technology, and spaces only at the office, better physical set-up, and to utilize amenities and services. Industrious is here to ensure every single one of these needs are met when teams come together.

REFERENCE VIDEOS: Here are some of Industrious’ previous ads for you to review. They are a good reference for tone, but a bit more playfulness and humor is welcome than what you see here.

  • INDUSTRIOUS LOCATION (REQUIRED): Please select which Industrious location you intend to film at.

  • TREATMENT (REQUIRED): A detailed narrative description of what's going to happen in the video. If it's helpful to you, we've provided a treatment template, which you can find here.

  • LINKS (REQUIRED): To your previous video work. Please specify your role (producer, director, cinematography, etc.) and DO NOT INCLUDE LINKS TO YOUR SHOWREEL. Please link to individual videos.

  • SCRIPT (Optional): This should include dialogue from the video you intend to create.

For some examples of effective Pitch videos, check out this gallery. All Pitches will remain private until after the Sponsor gives creator(s) the green light to move forward.

The most compelling pitch will be greenlit, and the responsible creator will then receive an email from Tongal producers detailing next steps. All submitters will also receive an automated email notification that a selection has been announced. To ensure you’re receiving project updates, review your email settings to check that you haven’t unsubscribed.

Creators who’ve been selected will receive funding upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment. Payment of the pitch funds is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal. Please see the full payment schedule  in the Assets section.

PRE-PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS: Prior to shooting, filmmakers must receive the below approvals from the Sponsor.

  • CASTING: This project requires casting approval before the Video Phase. You must submit at least two actor options per role. If the Sponsor does not approve either of your options for a role, you may be asked to submit two new actor options. You must submit at least two wardrobe options per role. If the Sponsor does not approve either of your options for a role, you may be asked to submit two new wardrobe options.

For your convenience, we’ve provided some helpful templates to use at your discretion. They include templates for creating a treatment, production budget, storyboards, shot list, call sheet, and a music cue sheet. Additionally, there are templates that will help you clearly present cast, location, and wardrobe options to the Sponsor. They can all be accessed here.

BUILDING YOUR TEAM: Tongal supports inclusivity in all of our productions and strongly encourages you to hire diverse talent for your team. To find staff & crew in your area, check out these resources and partners.
