I would like to pitch an interview with Lloyd Kaufman. He is a renaissance man of film-making, and co-founder of Troma Entertainment. He has been in the independent film industry for over 40 years, and if there's anyone out there who knows how to make a movie on a low budget, its this guy. Just look at his most loved classic from 1984, The Toxic Avenger. Kaufman specializes in a sub-grenre of campy horror that is over the top, and all about the gore factor. I think he breaks a lot of political barriers in the entertainment industry, and is both loved and hated for it. My interview with him would cover topics on how he distributes a small budget between his departments, his beast low-budget tips, and how he markets a film that is known to be low-budget.
