Produce a fully animated video to introduce new members to the benefits of the Advance Professional's ProRewards Loyalty Program.
Advance Pro has a simple, but strong promise: professional quality parts, service, and solutions dedicated to the professional shop. You may be familiar with Advance Auto Parts, but you probably don't realize they actually have a division called Advance Professional, or "Advance Pro," which is the largest automotive aftermarket supplier, and has the broadest availability of import and domestic parts. Advance Pro offers more than 900,000 products from their extensive network including Carquest Auto Parts®, WORLDPAC®, and Autopart International®. Their promise is simple, but strong: Professional quality parts, service and solutions dedicated to the professional shop. On top of all that, their ProRewards Loyalty Program allows auto repair shops and other professionals to earn points by purchasing the products they need & redeeming those points for exclusive deals, and that's what this is about.
For this project we are looking for an animator to create a straight-forward but captivating video - up to 1:30 - letting current and potential customers all they need to know about the Advance Pro's ProRewards program. The key thing is that the loyalty program helps shoppers save money and earn points when purchasing ProRewards eligible products in-store or online, and that they can then redeem their points for valuable offers like tools, equipment, training courses, gift cards, and additional fun prizes.
The video should focus on the three main pillars of the program - Enroll, Earn, & Redeem - by demonstrating how to enroll, highlighting the ease of earning points, and outlining potential benefits when redeeming those points. We will also need one :20 cutdown for each of the three pillars. You can learn more about how the program works and potential benefits by visiting the Background.
The tone and style should feel similar to their current Advance Pro explainer video and avoid any "cutesy" visuals, while finding creative ways to approach the messaging. The sponsor has mentioned the videos should not feature any people or humanoid figures, but should lean into the use of graphics and clever uses of typography. Apart from that, the animation and editing style of these videos is entirely up to you, so if you think kinetic text, sound effects, highly detailed renders, a heads up display graphic, or a straight view of a mouse cursor across the site with powerful VO will be the most effective approach, we want to see it!
For your pitch, you should include style frames that demonstrate the type of animation style you'd like to use. This video will be the main reference for the rewards program, so it should be attention grabbing and engaging, but also clear, and straightforward to effectively convey he ease and benefits of the ProRewards program.

In order to be considered, include the below materials in your submission. For examples of effective pitches, check out this gallery. All Pitches remain private, even after a Pitch is selected, and Tongal strives to have Pitch selections made by the end of the Evaluation period, but additional time may be required by the Sponsor, depending on any number of factors.
The most compelling pitch will be greenlit by the Sponsor, and the responsible creator will then receive an email from Tongal producers detailing next steps. All submitters will also receive an automated email notification that a selection has been announced. To ensure you’re receiving project updates, review your email settings to check that you haven’t unsubscribed.
Creators who’ve been selected will receive funding upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment. Payment of the pitch funds is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal, typically included with the project timeline.
PRE-PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS: Prior to the commencement of actual production, creators MUST receive final approval from the Sponsor on the elements below. There may be multiple rounds of feedback until an element is approved.
If you begin production before you have received final approval, you may need to reshoot or reanimate at your own expense.
