Adults Wanted Social Media Influencer Video Project
Pitch
04/12/23 - 05/06/23

Singles! If you or someone that you know has a TikTok or Instagram channel with at least 10,000 followers, submit to produce an authentic video that creates awareness and excitement around the Match “Adults Wanted” campaign, and post it to your own channels.

Match has lead the online dating movement since 1995, from the technology to the culture, and now they're standing up to say that emotional maturity is sexy. They believe that adults date better, and they're telling singles to "do you until you find someone worth doing." Match is constantly evolving their platform to empower single people to take dating into their own hands and date healthy, and that's what "Adults Wanted" is all about. With this project, they're looking for up to 5 people with a significant social media following to create and post a video about modern dating to increase the awareness behind this movement.

The goal of your video will be to create excitement around the Match "Adults Wanted" campaign and encourage downloads of the Match app. It can star you or someone you know so long as it me It's important to note that while we want emotional maturity this doesn't mean it should be somber or melodramatic, we still want to encourage mature adult singles to have fun and let loose. Invite viewers to approach dating in an empowering way, and show them how Match fits into this equation. Overall, the concept behind your video should be entertaining and humorous. Most importantly, it should be  authentic and relatable to you or your talent's personality.

Match is looking for someone with at least 10,000 followers on either Instagram or Tiktok, and we'd love for you to submit yourself if you have a following, but we understand that might not be the case, so it could be a friend, or it could be talent that you source. Whomever it is appearing on screen, they MUST live in the US or Canada, and have the Match app and be a member at the time of filming. You should also keep in mind that that person will need to agree to post on their own channel. If you have access to multiple talent options, feel free to pitch multiple times with different talent, as Match is open to greenlighting more than one pitch. In terms of casting, Match is hoping to find at least a few people in the NY metropolitan area as they host events they'd love to invite you to; however living outside of the area will not be a dealbreaker. Talent, however, should be between ages 30 and 49. So long as they meet the above stipulations, we're not looking for any particular follower base: talent could be standard influencers, comedians, actors/actresses, or foodies. The category they focus in isn't important so long as they have an engaged audience and are willing to post in partnership with Match.

For your pitch, you must include your proposed talent (if that's not you), and please be sure to include relevant social handles for Instagram or TikTok. Talent will be one of the top considerations when Match makes selections. We're anticipating the we'll greenlight up to 5 submissions, with the possibility that, if we see a lot of great options, Match may greenlight significantly more.

ADULTS WANTED CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW

‘Adults Wanted’ is a rally cry for adult singles who are fed up with dating red flags and are ready to date other emotional mature adults on Match because Adults Date Better.

What happened to dating? It seems there are endless horror stories, and very few happy ones. That’s because there’s a big difference between someone who dates, and an adult dater. When you date an emotionally mature adult,  you’re free to be yourself and let go in ways you never could. So date an adult who remembers your coffee order.  An adult who openly communicates and cares about your boundaries and needs. Date an adult who isn’t afraid to “ugly laugh” in front of you. Because when you finally date adults only, good things come your way. It’s time to ignite hope and optimism back into dating. Match will get you there.
