With simple iPhone video and a little animation, produce a fun social video that leans into the "sign from above" social trend to help Lowe's promote their latest monthly Kids Workshop in partnership with MrBeast's popular Swarm toys.
*Owing to product availability considerations, you must be able to receive product at an address in the U.S. or Canada*
For over two decades, Lowe's has hosted monthly Kids Workshops that children them to hang out at the store, work with their hands, and put together fun wooden project kits. Starting in 2025, they really kicked it up a notch by partnering with MrBeast to make the activities even more fun and engaging, and since then, kids have been able to collect one of MrBeast's popular Swarm toys with each workshop. The next workshop is coming up soon in July, and now Lowe's wants to put out the word on social media.
The goal of this project is to produce a fun, engaging, and on-trend social video that helps spread the word and lets viewers know to save the date for the upcoming MrBeast Kids Workshop, where kids will get to construct a "super jet" for their Swarm. This will require a mix of live action footage, but success in this project is probably more closely tied to how you handle the animation. Creatively, Lowe's wants to lean into the fun "sign from above" format that's trending now, but they want to give it a Lowe's twist. Like in the example there, they want the camera to start on someone looking shocked and pointing up to the sky, as we see the text "What's in the sky?!" pop up. From there, they want the camera to whip pan to the sky, where we'll see clouds form letters spelling out information about the next Lowe's x MrBeast Kids Workshop: something along the lines of "Save The Date: MrBeast Swarm Jet Workshop July 25th." Then, they want to finish off the video by seeing the Swarm Jet toy fly into the cloud message, making it disappear.
The live action component can be pretty simple, and you can film with either a camera, iPhone, or other smartphone, but you will still need someone to appear on screen, and you will still want to be intentional about their location and wardrobe. The animation portion is a bit more involved, but still limited in scope, since the format is really just about creating a believable visual effect in the sky after the whip pan. With that in mind, Lowe's is looking for a semi-realistic approach, and leaning towards 3D or stop-motion. If you're planning on proposing a stop-motion approach, Lowe's is able to ship a completed Swarm Jet product to you, provided you are able to receive product at an address within the US & Canada.
It's important to note that this is a very fast moving project, with final delivery happening within a month's time, so your pitch materials are effectively serving as your pre-production. With that in mind, we'll be looking to see a thorough breakdown in your pitch of how exactly you'd execute on this concept - this includes your proposed location, talent options, and how you will handle the cloud animation process, etc. During the production window, you will be able to collaborate with Tongal and the Lowe's team, but the idea is to come to the pitch table with as fully-baked a plan as possible. Since this video will ultimately be a mix of live action and animation, it's important to note that Lowe's is not allowing AI usage at any point throughout this project, so you have a look at the timeline below and ensure that you're properly equipped to handle all elements of this production within the clipped timeframe.

Though Lowe's has proudly sponsored some of MrBeast's endeavors, and was the exclusive build partner for season two of "Beast Games," it's the Kids Club Workshops that have a become a big, consistent, and very popular part of their partnership.
