I want to submit a wildcard video. Some people on the forum say you can submit a wildcard video based off a winning idea without winning the pitch phase. The brief details say that a wildcard video is a submission not based off any winning material from the previous rounds. Does anyone know exactly what the rules are for that?

I was told it can be based on a winning idea, but is doesn't have to be. Hoping that is correct info.

Yes, from what I've been told, the wildcard video entry (usually) does not have to be based on any previously winning material. However, that may not always be the case. But generally, yes, that is the whole purpose of the wildcards, is for others to submit something different.

You all got it right! A Wildcard CAN be based off a winning Idea, but it doesn't have to be.
