Miscellaneous
Hey Guys! I just stumbled on this site about an hour ago and had my eye on the Star Wars/Pringles contest. I'm not quite sure how the whole process works however and I was wondering if I could get a few things cleared up:

- If I miss the Idea Pitch stage, does that mean that if I do enter a video it isn't eligible for any sort of prize? Does this mean that I can still win a contest but not get said prize?

- How does the Wildcard concept work? Do I have to wait until the winning pitches have been announced and then submit a pitch of my own to try and have it picked instead of one that was already submitted?

- If I submit a pitch but it doesn't get chosen, can my video still be considered for a prize?

- All in all, since I've missed the first portion and haven't done any work for the contest yet, but already have what I think is a great idea, is there any way at all that I can potentially come out of this with a prize?

I'm a big Star Wars fan and a big indy film buff so this is right up my alley. Thank You to anyone who responds, I really appreciate the time.

Hi Drew, generally speaking contests are broken down into three phases, Idea, Pitch, and Video. You do not have to enter one phase to participate in another, With the exception that if you win a pitch phase you are required to make the video that you pitched.

Projects marked with a wildcard mean that anybody can submit a video during the video phase. If your wildcard places you are entitled to the full amount of money that corresponds to that place. On occasion some projects do not allow wildcards and therefor you must be a pitch winner to submit a video

The Pringles Star Wars pitch phase begins February 7th. Your pitch has to be based off of one of the winning ideas. However, If your pitch is not chosen or you do not want to submit a pitch you can take your original idea and submit it as a wildcard video. Best of luck to you Drew

Thanks for the reply Patrick :) So do the winning pitches get posted somewhere so everyone can see them then?
