Pitch and video phase

Hello!
I am a little new around here and i was wondering about the pitch phase and the video phase : the people who make a pitch have a better chance of being picked as a winning video? Do they have to make a video? And can you participate in the video phase if you haven't made a pitch? Because many projects don't have the pitch submissions available publicly so how are you supposed to make a video based on a pitch?

Hi Pamela, I'll try to answer your questions in order. 1) People who submit a Pitch have a better chance of winning in the video phase, because if your pitch is selected as a winner, you are guaranteed a prize in the video phase. 2) If your Pitch wins, you are required to make a video.

3) If the project has what we call a "wildcard" option you can make a video even if you haven't won in the pitch phase. 4)The only person who is allowed to make a video based on a winning pitch is the person who submitted it. Therefore, pitch contents are not displayed publicly.

hmm.. so how do you know which one has a wildcard option? and if you enter only a video without entering the pitch, you make something that can be totally different from the pitches that did win and possibly win the video phase?
