Tongal Feedback - Need More Communication

Hi All,
Does anyone else feel like the pitching process lacks communication with participants? In my experience, we as creators spend so much time writing up pitches, filming materials, and piecing together submissions for consideration, and then we anticipate hearing some sort of response. Usually that comes in the form of an email that says, "The winner(s) have been announced" with a link to the project page. But usually the winners aren't listed and you have to deduce that your submission was not chosen because you haven't heard otherwise.

My recommendation is for Tongal to send emails and/or notifications to all pitchers with an official confirmation of "Sorry, your pitch was not greenlit" so there's no having to guess. I think that's the least creators should receive after spending a lot of their time and resources putting together submissions.

Hi Danny, thanks for reaching out. When a Sponsor makes their final selections, we’ll send out an email to all of the Project participants letting them know that the chosen creators have been announced and include a direct link to the tab where the selected Tongalers have been posted. You can find the greenlit submissions on under the "Submission" tab within the project page. If you are unsubscribed from our emails, you can go directly to the project page to view the greenlit submissions.
