Most Tongal contests allow 140 characters for the idea phase. So, essentially, the ideas are "tweet" sized. While this may not seem like a lot of space to convey an idea, if you check out many of the previous winners you'll see brilliant use of those 140 characters. Or something like that.

Thank you. One grasps the general concept but how does one get one's tweet from Twitter to Tongal into one's account and associated with the correct project (phase) and so on? Likely I'm missing the obvious? Tongal no URL detailing this? Best janeTA

You're not going to Twitter. Stay right here. Each contest on Tongal will have a "submit" button. Press it. Let loose with the creativity, agree to terms & conditions, press Submit again & you're done! Most contests allow up to 5 ideas.
