For the Duracell video contest, someone submitted an idea and was chosen the winner of the "idea" contest. Do I have to make a video based on their idea?

Yes, the flow of our Tongal process is that ANYONE can submit a great Idea and win! Then FILMMAKERS review the winning Ideas and submit their PITCH based on any of the winning IDEAS. If you don't win a Pitch, think you have a better take, or have never created a video for Tongal - make a WILDCARD!

Re: RIT Dye..... are we able to write the story and submit on their behalf for someone who may not have the requisite writing skills to put forth a cogent story?

Sole Society- I want to submit a pitch script but why do I have to submit a link to video. Please suggest as I don't shoot videos.

You have to submit links to your previous work because if you win a PITCH, you will be required to actually make that video. So, we are confirming that you have the video skills necessary to deliver a quality video.

If you don't make videos, I suggest submitting to Projects that are currently in the IDEA phase. Current examples: Verizon FiOS Quantum and Lego Hero Factory.
