Hey Marlene! That's tough, no question, but if you find an artist to work with, you can 100% team up with someone and submit as a team. Do you know any artists or graphic designers? The artwork doesn't have to be hyperrealistic so much as it should feel really evocative and interesting, getting the "story" across at the same time as depicting your monster. I know some people are using clay models, some people are going all out with makeup and cosplay, and some people are doing pretty crazy and abstract styles of art. There are a lot of different ways you can approach this, even if you're not a "traditional" concept artist.
