I'm brand new and this website doesn't seem user friendly for finding people who need comedy bits/jokes. Any tips for a comedy writer?

Tongal is mostly a website for Crowdsourced Commercials and Ideas. Brands post projects and let you know what they're looking for. It's a bad time for writing projects since the last ones posted just ended at 3pm. You'll have to hang out and wait for the next round of projects to get underway! Most Idea phases only let you use 140 characters (Which isn't conducive to comedy writing) Others with 500 characters are usually more business plan oriented. Get used to writing comedy bits the size of a tweet! The brands will also post a Brief letting you know the theme and what they're looking for. So, you'll have to find the perfect project that's looking for something fun and silly. You can't "Find" people looking for your specific talent on Tongal at the moment. The brands just post their projects and users compete to have their ideas selected to be turned into commercials. It's like going out for a job interview against hundreds of other people for every gig, rather than a list of people looking to hire a specific person. You've got to earn every gig you get on Tongal! Finally, "Any tips for a comedy writer?" All that comes to mind is I hope you win the Lottery real soon! :)

I just noticed that my submissions for International Delight were not submitted. Bothe says they are private. Is there anyway this can be reviewed?

They were submitted. When you click on Past Submissions everyone's are currently listed as Private. If they didn't get submitted you wouldn't see anything on the website. The brand already finalized the lyrics a while ago and pitches are currently being evaluated.
