Now that 2021 is finally in the rearview mirror, we're looking ahead to all the amazing work our community will be doing in 2022. And with the flip of a new calendar year comes new Clearance Forms + Releases as well.
If you have a payment due after January 5th, 2022, be sure to complete the new forms in your dashboard. To update your forms, head to your Payments Dashboard and complete all three of your Clearance Forms as soon as your first payment of the year is added to your dashboard. We’re speaking, of course, of your W9 (or W8 for our international Tongalers), Winner Affidavit, and IP Assignment forms. You will automatically be prompted in the Clearance Forms section of your Payments dashboard. Please sign each document either digitally or by uploading it to your dashboard.
Also, be sure to select your preferred payment method. Your options for payment (depending on your location) include Paypal, Direct Deposit, and Wire Transfers. As always, community payments are processed 1 business day after the 1st and 15th of every month. When you receive your payment depends on your payment method. If you have any pending payments, you will be automatically prompted to update your Clearance Forms as of January 5th, 2022.
Here’s where you'll find all three of your Clearance Forms.
Ideators, once your forms are signed, you’re good to receive payment until 2023. Filmmakers, you’ll need to complete relevant releases for each project in addition to your annual Clearance Forms in order to receive payment. On that note, be sure to download the most recent Release Forms (Talent, Location, Music, etc.) prior to going on your 2022 shoots. Using outdated Release Forms could delay payment on a project.
