It’s no secret May the 4th is one of our favorite holidays here at Tongal, partly because it means we get to share some of our favorite Star Wars videos, both new and old, made by our talented community. This year was extra special because we had a chance to join LEGO at Star Wars Celebration in Chicago and engage with fans from around the world, while also bringing to life the imaginative stories of young fans through stop-motion animation. Here’s a round-up of our favorite Star Wars videos for 2019. May the 4th be with you!
1. Han Sol-UhOh
Jack and Leila, young fans of the Star Wars franchise, run through various rescue plots for saving Han Solo from Cloud City, until they land on the perfect one that ends up with Han safe and sound, but maybe a little charred. Animated by Kevin Ulrich.
2. Jungle Battle Hi-Jinx
The Clone Wars might have had a slightly different outcome if David and Sophia had been working on the script. In this video, they provide an unexpected alternative ending. We just hope the Yoda knows how to bust a move! Animated by Something's Awry Productions.
3. C3PO Is Just Like George Clooney: Gordon Tarpley’s Story
Expert prop builder, Gordon Tarpley, shows his passion for Star Wars by putting his skills to use making a realistic (and super accurate) C3PO costume for cosplay. Produced by the Indie Machines.
4. Rogue One Stop-Motion How-To Video
Video by Maya Rudolph
For Disney’s Star Wars 'My Rogue Story' Video Contest, the brand needed a tutorial to show kids just how fun and easy it is to create a stop-motion animation of their own. This how-to from Maya is chock-full of DIY ideas for constructing locations and creating special effects.
5. Wookie Mistake

We all know the worst part of a summer party hangover is cleaning up the mess you made the night before. Why not have a vacuum droid do the work for you?
