Winn-Dixie Delivery Moments Concept Project
Concept
06/18/20 - 06/24/20

Share concepts that illustrate the moments when Winn-Dixie's delivery service can save the day by saving customers a trip to the store.

Grocery shopping can be a challenge. That's why Winn-Dixie is now offering grocery delivery services. Simply order online, and within hours your groceries can be delivered directly to your door.

Everyone knows grocery delivery exists, but Winn-Dixie wants to be the first delivery service you think of for these common spur-of-the-moment situations that lots of people can relate to. The goal of this project is to source ideas rooted in everyday life that illustrate just how convenient Winn-Dixie's grocery delivery service can be, beyond your standard weekly shopping trip. Sometimes saving one extra trip to the store means saving the day, and Winn-Dixie needs your help finding moments that demonstrate this. Are you sending a box of cookies to a friend who's had a bad day? Or maybe you remembered that one ingredient you forgot to buy, right in the middle of cooking dinner. These moments should be bite-sized and concise to be able to fit within a short broadcast or social spot.

Please note that unless your concept is particularly clever and generally relevant as well, we are NOT looking for pandemic-related delivery concepts.

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES:

  • Concepts must include or be based on Winn-Dixie's delivery service
  • Concepts should NOT be related to the pandemic, unless it is generally relevant as well
  • Concepts must not portray in-store shopping as a negative experience
  • Concept should not just be about awareness. They should really be planting the seed with people that online grocery shopping can be considered for more than just your standard weekly shopping trip
  • Concepts should NOT overlap with any of the scenarios outlined in the Background/Additional Details section below
  • Concepts should NOT include the Winn Win Twinns

Winn-Dixie's delivery service is all about convenience. Research has shown that customers prefer shopping in-store, but sometimes they need a little extra help to make all the pieces come together in their busy lives. The point of this campaign is to hone in on the times when getting your grocery delivered just makes sense. We want to plant the seed that when customers run into one of these scenarios, they will think of Winn-Dixie delivery.  Here are a few scenarios we have already seen:

  • A family member sends groceries to their college student
  • College student using delivery, as they cram for an exam
  • A family member, sends groceries to another who is not feeling well
  • Unexpected life changes, busy parents
  • You are missing a few things in the middle of cooking – get it delivered
  • On vacation at your AirBnB, get your groceries delivered
  • On a road trip, order on your way to have your groceries get there when you do

These scenarios are here to illustrate how Winn-Dixie's delivery service can benefit their customers' lives, but we want to see what other kinds of ideas you can dream up. Now, more than ever, the eCommerce world is bridging the gap in our lives and making new moments possible. Share with us moments that could only be possible thanks to Winn-Dixie's delivery service.
