Come film the 2nd annual Tongies in Los Angeles on March 5th!
Last year, the First Annual Tongies celebration was pretty bananas. The other day, Prince* called us and begged to be included for 2015, but we were like "sorry, Prince**, we already sent out all the invites -- maybe next year."
On the hush hush, we have a couple invites stashed away for the lucky filmmaker(s) who are going to show up, turn their cameras on, and capture the magic. Unless the Purple One has a 5d, you've got the better shot at attending the 2nd annual Tongies.
We’re going to fly a lucky pitch winner out to LA and hand him/her $2,500 to capture the celebration and cut together a highlight reel (the Tongies are on March 5th this year, so be prepared to clear your schedule if you win).
*Prince has not reached out to us at the time of this writing.
**When Doves Cry is one of the best songs ever written.
The goal of this project is to create one awesome 180-second highlight reel of the Tongies.

For an example of an effective Pitch, check out Erik Beck’s winning “3 Artists & 5,000 LEGOs” Pitch video. All Pitches will remain private until after the winner of the Video Phase is announced and the Project is complete.
PHASE 2: VIDEO – The Pitch winner from the Pitch Phase will create one 180-second Video based upon their winning Pitch.
--Video Phase Payout: The winner of the Video Phase will earn the following prizes: 1st place $1,500.
--Music: Tongal has partnered with three premiere music providers: Audioblocks, Killer Tracks and Epidemic Sound. Any of which can be used to source music for your Video submission to this Project. You may use up to THREE total tracks per Video submission, and they can come from any of the three providers listed above. Music from these providers is available to registered Tongal members at no charge solely for their incorporation into Submissions to this Project and will not require a separate Music Release Form. To learn more about using each of these music providers, click on any of the provider’s names above.
