Create a series of two exciting 15 second Videos that show moms the incredible fun their kids can have with Suave Kids’ new Star Wars and Frozen bath time products. Take viewers on a journey that begins with an adventure and ends with kids being clean.

Bath time is about to get a whole lot more entertaining because Suave Kids is introducing all new bath products featuring everyone’s favorite characters from Star Wars and Frozen. So kids can drop that old rubber ducky and go on a new adventure with Olaf or BB-8! At bath time, anything’s possible.

Now, Suave Kids wants your help creating a series of two thrilling and engaging 15 second Videos to present these awesome new products to the world. They’ve already got a great idea for the first Video:

Oh, They Got New Shampoo, Honey, That’s All

Dad comes home, finds son levitating the couch and daughter freezing the pool. “Um, honey?” Mom says “they just got new shampoo, that’s all.”

In your Pitch, outline how you would bring the idea above to life in one 15 second Video and then pitch us your idea for a follow-up 15 second Video in the series. Your second Video can take place immediately after the first one or it can be a different situation, as long as both Videos feel part of the same campaign. Both Videos should find a way to feature both Star Wars and Frozen and should honor both franchises.

The goal of this project is to create a series of two exciting 15 second Videos that show moms the incredible fun their kids can have with Suave Kids’ new Star Wars and Frozen bath time products. Take viewers on a journey that begins with an amazing adventure and ends with kids being clean.

Include a pitch for the idea listed in the background when you submit your Pitch. Also tell us your Pitch for a second follow-up Video that feels like part of the same campaign. Remember: you may submit up to five different Pitches.

Important Note: In your Pitch, outline your plans for both 15 second Videos in the Series. Both Videos should feature Frozen and Star Wars in the story. Videos should respect both properties - please do not pitch a spoof or silly riff on either franchise.

Casting and Script Approval: Sponsor will have casting and script approval. While not required, Pitch Submitters are encouraged to include script and casting selects in their pitch. If selected, Pitch Winners will be required to send the Sponsor headshots of their cast before filming. The Pitch Winner may not begin filming until the Sponsor has approved their cast and scripts.

Bumper Note: You will need to create your own bumper/end graphic for your Video. You can find logos and product shots for your bumper in the Assets tab below. Your bumper should include the tagline “Every Adventure Ends in Clean”. Please factor the length of your bumper into the 15 second runtime of your Video. Only the Star Wars / Frozen pack shots should be featured in your bumper.

--Key Marketing Messages:

  • Bath time with Suave Kids is an adventure, and “Every Adventure Ends in Clean.”
  • Let your kids’ imaginations go wild with Star Wars and Frozen!

--Target Audience: Primary: Moms in their thirties. Secondary: Kids ages 3 to 9. Make sure both girls and boys are featured across the two videos, but not necessarily both in each video (allowable but not mandatory).

--Executional Mandatories:

  • Don’t show competing kids’ products.
  • You may not show or animate characters from either franchise (Frozen or Star Wars). It’s ok to show the bottle with the characters on it but characters cannot “come alive” on the bottle, in the bathroom, water, etc.
  • You may not use the music or have singing songs from the franchises.
  •  Playful costuming is allowed, as long as it is completely clear that the character is “celebrating” Star Wars or Frozen in a costume, not actually trying to portray that character on screen.
  • The brand will supply an audio signature to include in your bumper. This is currently still in development but will be given to Pitch Winner on completion.
  • Include at least one product shot being used in the bath. Bottle samples will be shipped to you.
  • Casting in your Videos should be diverse.

--Tone: Fun, exciting, adventurous, funny, relatable, endearing. Let moms know that you “get” them, and understand both the magic and emotional journey of bath time.

--Exposure: Paid media, Suave’s social media channels and website.

--Product: The Sponsor will make product available for Pitch Winners to use in their Videos.

This Project will be worth a total of $50,000 and consists of two Phases: a Pitch Phase and a Video Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.

PHASE 1: PITCH - Submit your Pitch (What is a Pitch Phase?) convincing the Sponsor why you should be selected to execute a Video based on one of the winning Ideas from the previous Phase using:

  • Text (REQUIRED): 500 characters or less synopsizing how you plan to approach and execute this Video.
  • Links (REQUIRED): To your previous video work. Please specify your role (producer, director, cinematography, etc.) and DO NOT INCLUDE LINKS TO YOUR SHOWREEL. Please link to individual videos.
  • Script (Optional): This should include dialogue from the video you intend to create.
  • Treatment (REQUIRED): A detailed narrative description of what’s going to happen in the video.
  • Storyboards (Optional): Additional concept art, storyboards, shot list, anything that helps get your point across.
  • Headshots/Casting Boards (Optional): Casting notes or concepts, headshots of actors, etc.
  • Pitch Video (Optional): This is your opportunity to show us what you’re capable of. Consider submitting a Pitch video in which you tell the Sponsor what they can expect should they choose your Pitch. Also, test videos, animatics, etc. are welcome.

The most compelling Pitch will be selected and, upon submitting the Winner’s Affidavit and the IP Assignment, will receive $20,000 to help create the Video. Additionally, upon submitting Videos that satisfy the criteria laid out in your winning Pitch, the Pitch winner will also be GUARANTEED a winning place in the subsequent Video Phase.  So, if your Pitch is selected and you execute your Pitch effectively in your Video submissions, you will win an additional $30,000  First Place video prize. For an example of an effective Pitch, check out The Indie Machines winning “3 Artists & 5,000 LEGOs” Pitch video. All Pitches will remain private until after the winner of the Video Phase is announced and the Project is complete.

PHASE 2: VIDEO – The winner from the Pitch Phase will create two 15 second Videos based upon their winning Pitch.

--Video Phase Payout: Winners of the Video Phase will earn the following prize: 1st place $30,000.

--Music: Tongal has partnered with three premiere music providers: Audioblocks, Killer Tracks and Epidemic Sound. Any of which can be used to source music for your Video submission to this Project. Music from these providers is available to registered Tongal members at no charge solely for their incorporation into Submissions to this Project and will not require a separate Music Release Form. To learn more about using each of these music providers, click on any of the provider’s names above.

Tongal members interested in a custom music solution for your project are invited to connect with SCORE A SCORE. They specialize in the creation of custom music, on-demand.

Their business model is based on a "name your price" system, so you can tell them what your budget is, and they will work with you to create a deal configuration that will work within the discussed parameters. Check out the FAQ for more information and how to contact SCORE A SCORE.

If you are selected as a winner and choose to use custom/original music, you must fill out and submit our Music Release Form. If you obtain music from other catalog providers, you must purchase the appropriate license at your own expense and submit it with our Music Release Form when you turn in your Video paperwork.

--Referral: Any Tongal member who refers one of the winning Video creators in this Project using the Tongal “Invite Friends” functionality will receive a referral fee equal to 5% of the amount won. That’s a potential $500 (up to $500 per place) in bonus cash just for telling all of your talented friends about this Project! Check out more about our Referral Program in FAQ.
