SEO wonks and copywriters, help us write search ads that will make Tongal more discoverable by writers, directors, and animators.
How many search queries does the average person make in a day? LMGTFY!
OK, so the jury is still out on exactly how many times we rely on the Internet to tell us how babby is formed, but it’s safe to say that humans have a lot of questions. And nearly 30 years after Archie, search engines continue to be one of the most powerful ways to discover information on the web.
We think Tongal is the answer to many career-related questions that writers, filmmakers, and animators might have. Trouble is, they just haven't found us yet. That’s why we need your help to write search ads that will cut through the clutter and lead creators to our virtual doorstep.
So think: If you were searching for your very first professional production gig (or your 100th), or opportunities to earn extra money for your creativity, or simply a community of supportive creators who you can learn and grow from, what words would convince you Tongal was worth a look?
The goal of this project is to source the copy for 5 original Search Ads that will help a new wave of creators discover Tongal. Search Ads are a way to connect people with the products and services they're already searching for in a clever, non-invasive, engaging way.
--Key Marketing Messages:
--Target Audience: Potential Tongal community members, freelance creators, writers, directors, and animators
--Executional Mandatories:
--Tone: We are open to a wide range of tones
--Exposure: Search Engines like Google and Bing (very glamorous, right?)
This Project will be worth a total of $500 and consists of a Search Ad Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.
PHASE 1: SEARCH AD – Submit your Search Ad copy in 270 characters or less. The winning Search Ad creators will receive $100 each.
Here’s an example from Google Ads that illustrates the difference between the Headlines and Descriptions:
