In this Quick Hits project, we need a LEGO DREAMZzz fan with a knack for writing to help develop scripts for four 3:30 LEGO DREAMZzz Season 1 animated recap videos.
Do you love LEGO DREAMZzz? Have you been an avid viewer of the show? Then this project is for you! We're running an experimental "Quick Hit" project to source a writer who just happens to be a legit LEGO DREAMZzz fan.
In anticipation of the upcoming Season 2 of LEGO DREAMZzz, we are creating four 3:30 animated recap videos that help get audiences caught up on Season 1. We are looking for a writer who can help edit and adapt our recap scripts to incorporate the DREAMZzz humor and tone of voice, specifically of the female characters. You'll receive $250 if you're selected, but we have additional $1,750 budget for you to revise the scripts. That'll make this $2,000 total, and we anticipate that we'll get moving right after we select you, but we'll work out a timeline with specific dates once someone is selected.
It's important that whoever we pick is a fan of DREAMZzz, and if we don't find the right person, we're open to alternate routes of moving forward.
If this sounds interesting to you (or someone you know), submit a writing sample (ideally for a short-form animation project, but we'll take what you have!) as well as a short description of your LEGO DREAMZzz fandom. If you want, you can submit your fandom story in video form, but that's not required.
For any questions or other project updates, check out the Project Forum.
EXPOSURE:
TARGET AUDIENCE: Fans of LEGO DREAMZzz (primarily children and families).
TONE: Lighthearted, playful, funny, and action-packed! This is a video aimed at children, so no profanity, controversial topics, or adult themes.
By participating in this project, creators acknowledge that the Sponsor is under no obligation to greenlight a submission. Though most projects on our platform do move forward, we will notify you in the event the Sponsor decides not to fund any submissions via the project forum. Regardless of the result, all submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and the project team.
In order to be considered, include the below materials in your submission. For examples of effective pitches, check out this gallery. All Pitches remain private, even after a Pitch is selected, and Tongal strives to have Pitch selections made by the end of the Evaluation period, but additional time may be required by the Sponsor, depending on any number of factors.
We have a total budget of $2,000 for this project. You'll receive $250 upon selection, and we have additional $1,750 budget for your work revising the scripts.
Upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment, and any revisions required, the most compelling submission will get $250. A Tongal Producer will reach out to you afterwards to coordinate on the next steps, and what will be required for the development of the four scripts.
ASSET DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS: In order to receive the additional script payment, you must provide the final script in PDF format as well as whatever working file you used to write the script (a Word doc, Final Draft doc, etc.).
