Tongal is looking to identify highly skilled puppet-makers that could work on some upcoming fast-paced projects. If you - or someone you know - would be a great fit, submit a referral and earn $50 if you're selected yourself, or $500 if your referral is selected and greenlit on one of our upcoming puppet projects.

With a number of exciting puppet production opportunities on the horizon, we're looking to expand our roster of puppet-makers.

While you might not dabble in the world of puppetry, we're betting there's a good chance you have a few friends who've found their creative calling in this medium. That's why we're turning to you to help us source some talented puppet makers from within your own figurative (or real; no judgement) Rolodex. There will be a bunch of opportunities for them if they sign up, and that means you've got a good chance at earning a few bucks. Plus, if you're a puppet maker yourself and you've just joined Tongal, you can feel free to submit yourself too!

REFERRAL FEES BREAKDOWN:

• $50 "top" referral prize - Upon the close of the submission phase, we'll take a look at the materials submitted with each referral and select up to 5 "top" referrals, and reward the submitter for bringing in great new talent.
• $100 general referral fee - If you submit someone here, your referrals MUST create a new Tongal account using your unique ID in order for you to automatically receive $100 upon your referral's first-ever Tongal greenlight. This referral fee is valid for ANY project category, even if the project is not puppet-related. You can generate your referral code under the 'Invite A Friend' section on our referrals page.
• $400 puppet referral fee - If your referral receives their first puppet-making greenlight on or before February 1st, 2022, you will earn an additional $400. The project they're greenlit on MUST be a puppet-making production project in order to qualify.

RESTRICTIONS:

• Referrals cannot have a Tongal account created on or before August 26th, 2021.
• You must actually know your referral personally. For example, if you refer Felicia Day, you better know Felicia Day. Tell us how you know your referral in the "Referral" section of the submission form.
• If you know a puppet-making duo or team, please submit one person from that duo or team only.

In order to be considered for this project, you must include the below materials in your referral.

• TITLE/NAME (REQUIRED): Please provide the first and last name of your referral under "Title."

• REFERRAL (REQUIRED): In up to 500 characters, tell us about who this person is, how you know them, and why you are referring them.

• CONTACT INFORMATION (REQUIRED): Tell us how to contact your puppet-making friend. We may also reach out to help onboard them.

• LINKS (REQUIRED): To the puppet-makers previous work.

• ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (Optional): If it's helpful, submit a PDF with additional information about past puppet-making work and/or your referral's puppet-making production process.

The 5 most compelling puppet-maker referral submissions will be selected and will then receive an email from Tongal producers as a means of introduction. All submitters will also receive an automated email notification that a selection has been announced. To ensure you’re receiving project updates, review your email settings to check that you haven’t unsubscribed.

Upon being selected, top referral submitters will receive $50 upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment. Payment is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal.

If you refer a puppet-maker and they are greenlit on a project, you will receive up to $500, based on the Referral Fees Breakdown and Restrictions, upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment, you will receive a referral payment.
