Any real fan will tell you that soccer season is a time for celebration that brings people closer together. Latinos across the country transform their homes into stadiums to watch the games with family, neighbors and friends’ families. For the Orgullosa™ woman, futbol (the world’s LARGEST sporting event) is more than a sport; it’s a culture, and a moment to spend with the people who matter most in her life.
Like futbol, Orgullosa is all about community for Latinas who live the American dream, while not forgetting where they came from. That’s why Orgullosa uses the term 200% Latinas to describe women who feel 100% American AND also 100% Hispanic. Orgullosa celebrates Mujeres con la Falda Bien Puesta (literally translated as: women with their skirts put on well). These women are bi-cultural, confident and driven, and are proud of who they are, inspired by who they strive to be, and empowered by this community to which they belong.
Now Orgullosa is tapping the Tongal community to help bring the story of “My House is My Stadium” to life, to share how futbol brings families and extended families together.
The goal of this project is to create a 60-second video with a 30-second cutdown that expresses the concept of “My House is My Stadium” AND captures the essence of bi-lingual/bi-cultural Orgullosa Latinas – aka Mujeres con la Falda Bien Puesta.
**Please limit the total number of on screen talent to no more than 6 actors. Any background extras should not be cast, directed, and should not be recognizable.**
