Oral-B Pro-Expert Premium Gum Protection Video Project (P&G Europe)
|
**Welcome to Tongal's first-ever P&G Europe Project**
Did you know that when you’re pregnant, you’re twice as likely to have gum disease? Or, if you’re a smoker, your chance of developing gum disease doubles?
Certain factors can dramatically increase your risk of irreversible gum damage. But lucky for Europe’s savviest expectant mothers and chain-smokers, Oral-B developed the Pro-Expert Clinic Line – check it out HERE. Unfortunately, it’s only available across the pond. But the great news is that in just 4 weeks of brushing with this toothpaste, Oral-B Pro-Expert Premium Gum Protection helps treat and prevent gum problems before they act up!
Now here’s where you come in – P&G Europe's brand Oral-B needs to get the word out about how the Pro-Expert Clinic Line can make a big difference for people who are already predisposed to develop gum problems. They want your videos to specifically speak to two groups: 1) Pregnant Mothers and 2) Smokers. This project is all about encouraging prevention – so no scary graphics or ultimatums. Find a fresh, creative way to bring awareness to the Pro-Expert Line and encourage Oral-B’s European audience to be proactive about gum health.
(Note: This project is for Oral-B Global (EU) and the product is only available in Europe, so please keep that in mind as you’re thinking about production design, casting, etc. Locations that are non-descript and authentically resemble France, London, Italy may be more in line with the creative ask on this challenge. Actors should have UK accents, but please make sure they sound native and genuine.)
The goal of this project is to create TWO 15-20 second Videos that shed light on how Video #1) Pregnant Women and Video #2) Smokers should take care of their gums... in a fresh, creative way. Bring to life the claim that: Oral-B Pro-Expert Premium Gum Protection helps reduce and prevent gum problems in just 4 weeks. This isn’t the usual fear-mongering oral care message. After people see your Video, they should care about gum health, and know that the Oral-B Pro-Expert Clinic Line will help them maintain healthy gums.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. This Video is intended for pre-roll, which means you've got the first 5 seconds to grab someone's attention before they click "SKIP." So, your Video should engage viewers quickly.
2. Make sure you review the brand’s recent PRINT WORK under the ASSETS TAB. These assets should inform the tone, look and feel of your Videos! P&G Europe / Oral-B want to make a clear connection that their print ads and your Videos were created within the same cohesive campaign.
3. You should use different actors in your TWO videos (e.g., the pregnant woman should not also be the smoker.)
**In your Pitch, you MUST submit a SCRIPT for each Video (#1: for pregnant women AND #2: for smokers) to even be considered for this project.**
**Please pay special attention to the abbreviated timeline, as this project moves fast.**

For an example of an effective Pitch, check out Erik Beck’s winning “3 Artists & 5,000 LEGOs” Pitch video. All Pitches will remain private until after the winner of the Video Phase is announced and the Project is complete. Remember, you MUST submit a script for BOTH Videos in order to be considered.
PHASE 2: VIDEO – The 2 winners from the Pitch Phase will each create TWO 15-20 second Videos based upon their winning Pitch. One Video will be directed at pregnant women, and the other Video will be directed at smokers.
The Judges will score the Videos submitted by Pitch winners to determine the standings for the Video Phase. Remember, the 2 Pitch winners will both receive prizes.
