Calling all Ollie's Bargain Outlet shoppers and superfans! Tell us why you love getting GOOD STUFF CHEAP at Ollie's and you could win $300 - AND - the opportunity to be featured in an upcoming Ollie's TV commercial that will be filming in Harrisburg, PA on Tuesday, May 2nd.

Do you love bargains?! Do you love saving money?! Most importantly, do you LOVE shopping at Ollie's Bargain Outlet?! If so, you could win $300 and the chance to appear in an upcoming Ollie's TV commercial! All you have to do is tell us why you love shopping at Ollie's. Yup! It's that simple. 

The commercial itself will be similar to this "Ollie's - Who We Are" video, and we are looking for FIVE Ollie's superfans to appear in the commercial and tell us why they love getting GOOD STUFF CHEAP at Ollie's. 

Importantly, you MUST be able to travel to the Ollie's location in Harrisburg, PA for the commercial shoot on Tuesday, May 2nd. If you are not available that day and/or cannot provide your own transportation to Harrisburg, your submission will be disqualified. In addition, you MUST be willing to sign Tongal's standard talent release in order to appear in the commercial. 

When it comes to your submission, the main thing we are looking for is your enthusiasm for shopping at Ollie's. Did Ollie's help you save a ton of money on something special? Tell us about it! Do you love all the puns and jokes inside the store? Let us know! You CAN submit as a family, and you CAN submit on behalf of someone else (like your Dad or your grandma). Regardless of who you are submitting for, that person MUST be available to film in Harrisburg on Tuesday, May 2nd, if selected.

To enter the Ollie's Superfan Contest:

1. You must be 18 years or older, and a US resident.
2. Log-in to, or create a Tongal Account.
3. Fill out the required information on the Submission Form through the "Submissions" tab of this project page.
4. Optionally, you may submit a video telling us your Ollie's story. You can shoot this video on your phone, either horizontally or vertically. Please upload it to the Submission Form in .mp4 format.
5. Then click the "Submit" button.
6. If selected, a Tongal producer will reach out to you about next steps.

If selected, you will be expected to provide your own wardrobe for the shoot, with input and guidance from the commercial director. Your total compensation for appearing in the commercial will be $300. If you submit as a family and your group is selected, each member of your group will be paid $300. 

The Ollie's Superfan Contest is open for submissions from 3:00pm ET on Monday, April 10th, 2023, to 3:00pm ET on Monday, April 17th, 2023. Submissions not received within this time period will be disqualified. See Official Rules and requirements for eligibility and other requirements.

In order to be considered for this project, you must include the below materials in your pitch submission. For examples of effective pitches, check out this gallery.

• TITLE (REQUIRED): In the "Title" section of the submission form, please put your full name.
  
  
• OLLIE'S SUPERFAN STORY (REQUIRED): Using up to 500 characters, describe how you came to love shopping at Ollie's and why you would be the perfect person to be in an Ollie's commercial.
  
  
• SUBMITTER CONTACT INFORMATION (REQUIRED): Please provide your First Name, Last Name, Full Address (Street, City, State/Province, Zip Code, and Country), and Email, along with your Phone Number.
  
  
• SOCIAL MEDIA HANDLES (Optional): If you're active on social media and willing to share, please provide your social media handles (e.g. Instagram, Twitter, etc.). This is just so the Ollie's team can get a sense of who you are. The amount of followers you have does NOT matter, and it will NOT impact your submission if you do not provide any social media handles.
  
  
• PITCH VIDEO (Optional): This is your opportunity to be face-to-face with Ollie's and tell them why you should be in their next commercial. You can shoot this video on your phone, either horizontally or vertically. Please upload it to the Submission Form in .mp4 format. A Pitch video is your chance to give the Ollie's team a sense of who you are. It will NOT impact your submission if you do not provide a Pitch video. For some examples of effective Pitch videos, check out this gallery. All Pitches will remain private until after the Sponsor gives creator(s) the green light to move forward. 

The five most compelling submissions will be selected, and the winners will then receive an email from Tongal producers detailing next steps. All submitters will also receive an automated email notification that a selection has been announced. To ensure you’re receiving project updates, review your email settings to check that you haven’t unsubscribed.

If your submission is selected, you will be required to fill out a Winner Affidavit, an IP Assignment Agreement, and a Talent Release. Payment of the prize funds is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal. You MUST provide such requested documents and/or information in order to potentially receive a prize.

1. Greenlit submitters MUST submit the standard Tongal W-9, Winner Affidavit, and IP Assignment.
   
   
2. Unless provided otherwise, all work must be your own original creation and free of any copyrighted material. You shall provide detailed information of your work regarding the source, the creator and background information as requested by Tongal.
   
   
3. BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, YOUR SUBMISSION IMMEDIATELY BECOMES THE SOLE PROPERTY OF TONGAL OR ITS ASSIGNEES – SEE OFFICIAL RULES FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF YOUR ENTRY IN THE PROJECT.
   
   
4. You may not contact any employees or members of the Sponsor's organization, their affiliates, or any of their partners. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in disqualification of your entry in the project.
   
   
5. In addition to the judging criteria stated in the OFFICIAL RULES, Pitches will also be evaluated on that member's ability to travel to the shoot location.
   
   
6. Submissions must be in the English language or subtitled.
   
   
7. Submissions must not portray Sponsor in a negative way, the determination of which will solely reside with Sponsor, nor can Submissions contain any profanity, offensive language, nudity or otherwise objectionable material, the determination of which is solely at the discretion of Sponsor.
   
   
8. You must be at least eighteen (18) years or older to enter.
   
   
9. The Sponsor reserves the right to repost the contest.
