Tell us your concept for how you bring the test-drive experience to online shoppers through informative and entertaining video content.

When people test-drive a vehicle, they are more likely to buy it…  Sounds simple, right?

The reality is with the advent of new-fangled technologies, test-drives, dealership visits, “kicking the tires” are all starting to take a backseat (pun intended) as the auto shopping experience becomes an increasingly digital one.

Fun Fact #1: When someone physically goes to a dealership, the likelihood they are ready to buy is high. So being able to see what you are getting and experiencing it - without having to set foot into a dealership - can contribute substantially to the final purchase decision.

Fun Fact #2: Test drive videos are ranked #1 as most wanted automotive shopping videos on YouTube.

Put 1 and 2 together and you’ve got a pretty good idea of where we’re headed. Our Mystery Sponsor wants you to come up with concepts for the future of test-drive videos going beyond what you see today. We want you to bring the test-drive to online shoppers through informative and entertaining video content the brings to life the important aspects of the vehicle.

Harness your inner Jeremy Clarkson and tell us where we’re going (just don’t punch anyone, please).

Tell us your concept for how you bring the test-drive to online shoppers through informative and entertaining video content that helps bring to life important aspects of the vehicle, ultimately moving potential buyers closer to the actual purchase decision.

--Target Audience: People who are actively evaluating their options for a new vehicle purchase. They are smart, savvy, value-oriented consumers who have researched their purchase well and are in the process of narrowing down their list to a select few.

--Tone: Confident. Optimistic. Inviting. Inclusive. Energized. Tries new things. Empowering.
