When it comes to fabric softener we’re all too familiar with the traditional pour into the cap then into the washer technique. Yes, there’s that brief moment of satisfaction when you feel like a distinguished chemist but this gets old quick. The real rub with this technique is that residual dripping from the cap on to the container then on to the surface of your pristine washing machine or where ever you store your fabric softener. Then there’s the direct into the machine method which inevitably results in over pouring and wasting this valuable nectar of the clothing gods. Why oh why must this happen!?!?  Well worry no more, innovation always finds a way and this Mystery Sponsor has cracked the code with two words: SQUEEZE BOTTLE. Don’t be too hard on yourself for not thinking of this first because there’s still work to be done. 

This Mystery Sponsor would like your help developing Concepts for social posts promoting this groundbreaking new bottle. Before you get started please read the Objectives section for some critical details.

The goal of this project is to create Concepts for social posts promoting this innovative new way to dispense fabric softener into your washing machine. In 500 characters or less describe the post’s visual and accompanying copy. Think in terms of a static visual that somehow incorporates the bottle (see the project banner for a depiction of the new container). Get creative with the visuals and feel free to push the envelope a little to get people’s attention. Same goes for the copy. The sponsor has created two Territories to help guide your thinking. When submitting please make sure your Concept ladders up to one of the following:

• 30% less plastic
• 70% less water in the product
• Bottle 100% recyclable

Territory 2 – More Convenience for Me!

Easy dispensing and no spilling.

• One squeeze – one dose
• Dispenser allows for precise dispensing and avoids leakage
• Easy to use until the last drop 

Smaller, lighter packaging

• Easy to store and transport
• 30% less plastic, 70% less water in the product
• Bottle 100% recyclable

--Target Audience: 25-45-year-old working women already using fabric softener. They’re open to trying new products that simplify their busy life. They are educated and are aware of current environmental challenges (plastic, water waste), but are not exclusive green/ ecological product buyers.

This Project consists of a Concept Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.

PHASE 1: Concept – Tell us your Concept for a social post in 500 characters or less. As always, Concepts should be clever and engaging. The three (3) winning Concept creators will receive $250 each.

1. Unless provided otherwise, all work must be your own original creation and free of any copyrighted material. You shall provide detailed information of your work regarding the source, the creator and background information as requested by Tongal.

2. BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, YOUR SUBMISSION IMMEDIATELY BECOMES THE SOLE PROPERTY OF TONGAL OR ITS ASSIGNEES – SEE OFFICIAL RULES FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES. YOU MAY NOT PUBLICLY SHARE OR PUBLISH YOUR SUBMISSION IN ANY MANNER AND YOU MAY NOT POST OR UPLOAD YOUR SUBMISSION TO ANY WEBSITE OR VIDEO HOSTING SITE (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE OR VIMEO), WITHOUT THE PRIOR EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT OF TONGAL. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF YOUR ENTRY IN THE PROJECT.

3. Submissions cannot contain any profanity, offensive language, nudity or otherwise objectionable material, the determination of which is solely at the discretion of Sponsor.

4. Submissions must not portray Sponsor in a negative way, the determination of which will solely reside with Sponsor.

5. By submitting to this project, you acknowledge that your work may become subject to public voting on the Tongal site. Public voting may be used to help the project sponsor determine the final rank order.

6. Limit 5 submissions per member, per Phase.

7. You must be at least eighteen (18) years or older to enter.

8. You will need to submit the standard Tongal W-9, Winner Affidavit, and IP Assignment.
