Help this Mystery Sponsor get foot traffic into their flagship store throughout the holiday season and beyond!

Brands are going big from now until the end of the year. Between Black Friday, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years, every shop is going to pull out all the stops to try and get your attention during the biggest gift-giving season of 2014. This Mystery Sponsor needs YOUR help to get foot traffic into their flagship store.

This Mystery Sponsor is a premium, edgy lifestyle brand and in addition to selling luxury big-ticket items, they also sell cool gear and gifts this holiday season and beyond. What can they do to get people in the door at their retail location?

Think about:

  • What have other stores done that made you need to stop by and check out the merch?
  • What could drive traffic the whole season?
  • Think PR, advertising, marketing, in-store, live events and unforgettable experiences.

Don’t think about:

  • Sales or discounts - think bigger.
  • Don’t suggest a billboard or a TV commercial.
  • And definitely don’t tell them to get Mariah Carey to come serenade everybody with “All I Want for Christmas Is You." It ain’t happening.

It could be one-day only. It could take place over a weekend. It could build week after week, getting bigger and bigger until the grand finale next year. Think about what would make you want to get into their store and check out the scene!

The goal of this project is to get Big Ideas for how this Mystery Sponsor can get foot traffic into their flagship store throughout holiday and beyond. Use the info above as a guide but let your best creative thinking come through!

This Project will be worth a total of $2,500 and consists of 1 Phase: a Big Idea Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.

PHASE 1: BIG IDEA  – Tell us your Big Idea for the Bring ‘Em Out Ideation in 500 characters or less. Remember, a Big Idea can be anything. Give us your biggest thinking – but not Mariah Carey big. The winning Idea creators will receive $500 each.
