“What is love?” A question first aptly posed by Haddaway, and now our challenge to you, the Tongal Community.

Well, sort of...

Our Mystery Sponsor is looking to create a branded entertainment series around the theme of “modern love throughout the ages” and they want your take. Think about how you might tie-in a multi-generational, multi-cultural perspective. Feel free to look at subjects likearranged marriages, Multi-cultural or interracial marriages, or how people are remixing traditions to forge their own expressions of love. Whatever you do, just make sure there's enough substance to sustain an entire season (7-13 episodes) at 3-5 minutes a piece. 

Tell us your concept for a series of videos dealing with the them of "modern love throughout the ages."

Keep in mind that each video in your series should be able to work as a standalone piece (think: California is a Place -- which you should watch if you haven't seen it aleady). Your series Concept should also have global appeal and be adaptable to different markets. It should celebrate the journey of a relationship, including and leading up to engagement / the proposal. Remember that you're targeting both men and women, so be sure to keep that in mind when formulating your thoughts. 

This project will be worth a total of $1,000 and consist of one Concept Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.

PHASE 1: CONCEPT - Submit your Concept for series of videos about modern love throughout the ages using:

• Text (REQUIRED): 500 characters or less summarizing your Concept: Who, What, When, Where, How, Why? 

• Links (Optional): To other relevant material on the world-wide-webs.

• Image (Optional): Feel like creating a collage to illustrate your point? Go for it!

• Video (Optional):  No wedding videos please, but if you want to go the extra mile and put together a thoughtful video furthering the explanation of your concept, feel free!

1. Unless provided otherwise, all work must be your own original creation and free of any copyrighted material. You shall provide detailed information of your work regarding the source, the creator and background information as requested by Tongal.

2. BY SUBMITTING A CONCEPT, YOUR SUBMISSION IMMEDIATELY BECOMES THE SOLE PROPERTY OF TONGAL OR ITS ASSIGNEES – SEE OFFICIAL RULES FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES. YOU MAY NOT PUBLICLY SHARE OR PUBLISH YOUR SUBMISSION IN ANY MANNER AND YOU MAY NOT POST OR UPLOAD YOUR SUBMISSION TO ANY WEBSITE OR VIDEO HOSTING SITE (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE OR VIMEO), WITHOUT THE PRIOR EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT OF TONGAL.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF YOUR ENTRY IN THE PROJECT.

3. Submissions cannot contain any profanity, offensive language, nudity or otherwise objectionable material, the determination of which is solely at the discretion of Sponsor.

4. Submissions must not portray Sponsor in a negative way, the determination of which will solely reside with Sponsor.

5. By submitting to this project, you acknowledge that your work may become subject to public voting on the Tongal site. Public voting may be used to help the project sponsor determine the final rank order.

6. Submissions must be in the English language.

7. Limit 5 submissions per member, per Phase.

8. You must be at least thirteen (13) years or older to enter.
