Luden’s Throat Drops needs YOU to create a video that introduces TWO new flavors and lets 18-25 year old women know that Luden’s is surprisingly soothing and simply delicious.
This fall, there will be no time for sitting around. Between bachelorette parties, birthday blowouts, concerts, Barry's Bootcamp marathon weeks, and what's heating up to be the most competitive brunch-off you and your friends have ever hosted, you're going to have to be on your A-game. The coming months are going to be jam packed with non-stop fun so that the fall season rivals what just turned out to be the best summer ever.
Whether you’re getting ready to dominate in a class presentation, nail your first job interview, or just listening to Beyoncé in your car at a stop light with all the windows rolled up, what do you do when a little throat irritation threatens to rain on your parade? You grab a Luden's Throat Drop.
Luden’s Throat Drops are an everyday throat drop formulated to calm minor, irritated throats. Unlike cough drops, Luden's is not made to suppress coughs and with the launch of TWO NEW FLAVORS – Watermelon and Blue Raspberry – they certainly do not suppress taste.
Just like you always turn to Luden's for sweet (and delicious!) relief, Luden's is now turning to you for the most creative Ideas to spread the gospel about these simply delicious throat drops and announce the new Watermelon and Blue Rasberry flavors for your throat-soothing pleasure.
The goal of this project is to create a 30-second video that introduces BOTH new flavors and lets 18-25 year old women know that Luden’s is the anywhere, anytime throat drop that is surprisingly soothing and simply delicious.

PHASE 1: IDEA – Tell us your Idea for the Simply Delicious Luden’s Video in 140 characters or less. Remember, an Idea (What is an Idea Phase?) is not a detailed script; it is a spark of inspiration, or a distillation of what will happen in the Video. As always, Ideas should be clever and engaging. The winning Idea creators will receive $250 each and a 5% one-time residual payment for any winning Video based on their Idea. (That means if your winning Idea is the basis for the 1st place Video, you will receive $500 – see Video Phase Payout details for more information.)
PHASE 2: PITCH - Submit your Pitch (What Is a Pitch Phase?) convincing the Sponsor why you should be selected to execute a Video based on one of the winning Ideas from the previous Phase using:
The 1 most compelling Pitch will be selected and, upon submitting the Winner’s Affidavit and the IP Assignment, will receive $4,250 to help create the Video. Additionally, upon submitting a Video that satisfies the criteria laid out in your winning Pitch, the Pitch winner will also be GUARANTEED the winning place in the subsequent Video Phase. So, if your Pitch is selected and you execute your Pitch effectively in your Video submission, you will win an additional $10,000 (subject to deduction for one-time 5% residual payment to eligible Idea winners). For an example of an effective Pitch, check out Erik Beck’s winning “3 Artists & 5,000 LEGOs” Pitch video. All Pitches will remain private until after the winner of the Video Phase is announced and the Project is complete.
PHASE 3: VIDEO – The 1 winner from the Pitch Phase will create a 30-second Video based upon their winning Pitch.
--Video Phase Payout: Winners of the Video Phase will earn the following prize: 1st place $10,000 (less any 5% one-time residual payments paid to the Idea winners, as applicable).
--Music: Tongal has partnered with three premiere music providers: Audiosocket, Killer Tracks, and Epidemic Sound. Any of which can be used to source music for your Video submission to this Project. You may use up to THREE total tracks per Video submission, and they can come from any of the four providers listed above.
