Create a suite of inspirational anthem videos for Little Remedies to celebrate all the little things that moms love about their babies, and all of the little things that moms do for their babies, to show them that Little Remedies knows it’s the little things that matter.

Moms know it’s the little things that matter the most – the little giggles, little laughs, little steps and little sniffles. And it’s the little things that moms do for their baby too – the songs and cuddles, and gentle nose wipes. They’re tender moments, loving acts, and sentimental observations, and they’re all precious to mom.

The little things matter to Little Remedies, too. That’s why the company designs safe and gentle solutions exclusively for little ones. Little Remedies pays special attention to the little details - ensuring that babies have everything they need. And nothing they don’t.

Little Remedies wants to connect with moms via the brand platform, “Little Things” - an emotional celebration of all the positive experiences that make being a mom so rewarding - whether it’s an unexpected giggle or a well-earned smile after a night of crying. Little Remedies wants to remind moms that it’s the little things that matter.

Now, Little Remedies is turning to you for a suite of inspirational videos that bring “the little things” to life. Friendly, understanding, sentimental, and sweet, each of the videos detailed below should speak with the same voice, and revolve around why the little things matter, with a focus on examples of things that moms and babies are grateful for.

Anthem Video #1 - Dear Mom

This moving video offers a message to mom from Little Remedies, but takes the baby’s POV – acknowledging all the little things mom does and all the wonderful little moments they share together, and letting mom know that Little Remedies values the things too. In your video, you should find a way to make it immediately clear the message is coming from the baby – even though it’s not old enough to speak yet. Be sure to incorporate “little” throughout your script, to tie it back to the campaign.

Anthem Video #2 - It’s The Little Things

This inspirational video offers a message to mom from Little Remedies – letting moms know we understand it’s the little things that matter. Little Remedies cares about the little things and wants to celebrate everything that moms do and everything that they’re grateful for. Please give several examples of little things throughout the script to tie it back to the campaign.

6-Second Videos – Little Moments Moms Know

Each of these short videos should capture its own “little thing”; a relatable action, observation, experience, or moment shared by mom and her baby, like cleaning baby’s little fingers and toes, or extra cuddles when baby isn’t feeling their best. You should view these more like dynamic print ads than traditional short-form videos, and the text copy should tie in Little Remedies. Simplicity is key – use emotive visuals and clever on-screen text, and focus text on a single sentiment or observation that ties into the themes you’ll explore in the anthem videos. These can incorporate the same cast and locations as the anthems, and potentially even the same shots, but they should be thoughtfully developed as their own stand-alone videos, and NOT function as cut-downs.

Check out more details below…

The goal of this project is to create a suite of inspirational anthem videos for Little Remedies to celebrate all the little things that moms love about their babies, and all the little things they do for their babies, to show them that Little Remedies knows it’s the little things that matter. Your suite should include two (2) different 30-second anthem videos, along with five (5) different 6-second videos. All of your Videos are intended for use as digital pre-roll, and will also see usage on YouTube, as well as the brand’s website and owned social channels. As pre-roll and YouTube are the main focus, your videos should be shot in 16:9, but they should still look to hook the audience in the first few moments.

Your Videos may include the same cast and same locations, but each video should stand alone and feel distinct from the others, so don’t look at these as “versions” of a single video. All videos should also speak with the same voice and ladder up to campaign, conveying the “realness” of being a parent, but focusing on relatable and positive moments. These are not product videos.

Attention Filmmakers: This project will include a Pre-Pitch Phase which gives filmmakers the opportunity to submit a 1000-word synopsis of their creative and narrative concepts for the final Videos, confirm their availability for production, and provide samples of previous work. Two (2) Pre-Pitch winners will be selected to move forward into the Pitch Phase and be awarded $250 to complete Scripts for all seven of the videos in their suite, along with a detailed Treatment, to further develop their Pitch.

Anyone in the community can compete during the Pitch Phase, even if they did not participate during the Pre-Pitch Phase. All Pitches must include Scripts for all seven of the Videos in the suite, as well as a detailed Treatment, synopsis, and links to previous work.

At the end of the Pitch Phase, Sponsors may select final Pitch winner(s) from the group of Pre-Pitch winners and/or other competing Pitches. Please note that Pre-Pitch winners are not guaranteed to be greenlit into production. If you have any questions about Pre-Pitch, please post to our Forum or reach out to us at info@tongal.com.

PRE-PRODUCTION NOTE: The Pitch Winner from the Pitch Phase will enter the Pre-Production Phase (What is a Pre-Production Phase?), which means you will be required to submit certain items for Approval before moving onto the Quick & Rough Phase. These items are:

  • SCRIPT  – You must submit full revised scripts with any action, on-screen text, dialogue, and voiceover that will be included in your Video. The brand may provide feedback on your Script and ask you to submit a new version. There may be multiple rounds of feedback until a Script is approved by the brand.
  • STORYBOARD – You must submit a storyboard that reflects your approach to the Video, and includes the entirety of your script. The brand may provide feedback on your storyboard and ask you to submit a new version of the storyboard.
  • HEADSHOT  – You must submit at least two actor options per role. If the brand does not approve either of your options for a role, you may be asked to submit two new actor options.
  • LOCATION - You must submit multiple images of your primary filming locations. The brand may provide feedback on your location and ask you to submit additional photos or to find a new location and submit images for that.
  • WARDROBE – You will need to submit descriptions and/or pictures of your cast’s wardrobe. You must submit at least two wardrobe options per role. If the brand does not approve either of your options for a role, you may be asked to submit two new wardrobe options.

IMPORTANT: No filmmakers may begin shooting their Video until all Approvals are completed and the Video Phase has officially begun. If you begin shooting your Video during the Pre-Production Phase, there is a chance you will need to reshoot (at your own expense) so please don’t jump the gun.

If you’re selected as a Pitch Winner, a Tongal producer will email you to help walk you through the Pre-Production and Approvals process.

NOTE: Both the TWO (2) 30-second Videos and the FIVE (5) 6-second Videos are due at the close of the Video Phase. Please upload them as separate videos when submitting your Videos.

This Project will consist of Five (5) Phases: a Pre-Pitch Phase, a Pitch Phase, a Pre-Production Phase, a Video Phase, and a Revisions Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.

PHASE 1: PRE-PITCH – (What is a Pre-Pitch Phase?) Write a detailed synopsis of your narrative concept and technical approach for the Little Remedies Little Things Video Suite, and confirm your availability for production.

  • Pitch Synopsis (REQUIRED) - In a 1000 words or less summarize your story and technical approach to the final Video(s) and sell the Sponsor on your creative vision.
  • Links (REQUIRED) - To your previous video work. Please specify your role (producer, director, cinematography, etc.) and DO NOT INCLUDE LINKS TO YOUR SHOWREEL. Please link to individual videos.

The TWO (2) most compelling submissions will be selected and, upon submitting the Winner’s Affidavit and the IP Assignment, will each receive $250 to help create Scripts for all 7 of the Videos, along with a detailed Treatment, for the subsequent Pitch Phase.

PHASE 2: PITCH – Attention Filmmakers: You can still compete during the Pitch Phase (What is a Pitch Phase?) even if you didn’t participate during the Pre-Pitch Phase! For the Pitch Phase, all Filmmakers, including those from the Pre-Pitch Phase, will submit a Pitch convincing the Sponsor why you should be selected to execute a Little Remedies Video Suite.

Please note that all Pitches must include Scripts for all 7 of the Videos, along with a detailed Treatment, a synopsis, and links to previous work.

  • Text (REQUIRED): 500 characters or less synopsizing your Pilot and how you plan to execute the debate show format.
  • Title (REQUIRED): 100 characters or less with a proposed title for your show & format.
  • Scripts (REQUIRED): These should include action, dialogue , VO, or text copy for ALL of the Videos you intend to create.
  • Treatment (REQUIRED): A detailed narrative description of how the format works, what’s going to happen in the Pilot and subsequent videos, and how it’s going to look and feel, along with any visual and tonal references, and mood boards. If it’s helpful to you, we’ve provided a Treatment template, which you can find here.
  • Links to Previous Work (REQUIRED): To your previous video work. Please specify your role (producer, director, cinematography, etc.) and DO NOT INCLUDE LINKS TO YOUR SHOWREEL. Please link to individual videos.
  • Pitch Video (Optional): This is your opportunity to show us what you’re capable of. Consider submitting a Pitch video in which you tell the Sponsor what they can expect should they choose your Pitch. Also, test videos, animatics, etc. are welcome.
  • Storyboards (Optional): Additional concept art, storyboards, shot list, anything that helps get your point across.

The ONE (1) most compelling Pitch will be selected and upon submitting the Winner’s Affidavit and the IP Assignment, will receive $19,500 to help create a Video suite with TWO (2) 30-second videos, and FIVE (5) 6-second videos. Additionally, upon submitting a complete Video suite that satisfies the criteria laid out in their winning Pitch, the Pitch winners will also be GUARANTEED an additional $20,000 at the close of the Video Phase.

All Pitches will remain private until after the winner of the Video Phase is announced and the Project is complete.

PHASE 3: PRE-PRODUCTION – The Pitch Winner from the Pitch Phase will enter the Pre-Production Phase (What is a Pre-Production Phase?), which means you will be required to submit certain items for Approval before moving onto the Quick & Rough Phase.

No filmmakers may begin shooting their Video until Approvals are completed and the Video Phase has officially begun. If you begin shooting your Video during the Pre-Production Phase, there is a chance you will need to reshoot (at your own expense) so please don’t jump the gun.

PHASE 4: VIDEO – Once the Pre-Production Phase is complete, the Pitch Winner will create a Video suite with TWO (2) 30-second Videos, and FIVE (5) 6-second Videos.

NOTE: All 7 of the 30-second and 6-second Videos are due at the close of the Video Phase. Please upload them as separate videos when submitting your Videos.

--Music: Tongal has partnered with the music provider Jingle Punks for this project, which can be used to source music for your Video submission. Music from Jingle Punks is available to registered Tongal members at no charge solely for their incorporation into Submissions to this Project and will not require a separate Music Release Form. To learn more about using Jingle Punks, click the name above.

Tongal members interested in a custom music solution for your project are invited to connect with SCORE A SCORE. They specialize in the creation of custom music, on-demand. Their business model is based on a "name your price" system, so you can tell them what your budget is, and they will work with you to create a deal configuration that will work within the discussed parameters. Check out the FAQ for more information and how to contact SCORE A SCORE.

If you are selected as a winner and choose to use custom/original music, you must fill out and submit our Music Release Form. If you obtain music from other catalog providers, you must purchase the appropriate license at your own expense and submit it with our Music Release Form when you turn in your Video paperwork.

PHASE 5: REVISIONS – Once the Video Phase has closed, the winning submitters will enter the Revisions Phase (What is a Revisions Phase?). During this phase, filmmakers will perform reasonable edits on their Videos according to the Sponsor’s feedback. Once the Videos are finalized, the winners will be announced.

  3. In the event you utilize any third party materials, such as music provided by a third-party music provider not provided by Tongal, you must obtain full written license and consent from the owner of such third party materials and provide such license and consent forms to Tongal.

  4. BY SUBMITTING A VIDEO ENTRY, YOUR SUBMISSION IMMEDIATELY BECOMES THE SOLE PROPERTY OF TONGAL OR ITS ASSIGNEES – SEE OFFICIAL RULES FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES. YOU MAY NOT PUBLICLY SHARE OR PUBLISH YOUR SUBMISSION IN ANY MANNER AND YOU MAY NOT POST OR UPLOAD YOUR SUBMISSION TO ANY WEBSITE OR VIDEO HOSTING SITE (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE OR VIMEO), WITHOUT THE PRIOR EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT OF TONGAL. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF YOUR ENTRY IN THE PROJECT.

  1. Submissions cannot contain any profanity, offensive language, nudity or otherwise objectionable material, the determination of which is solely at the discretion of Sponsor.

  2. Submissions must not portray Sponsor in a negative way, the determination of which will solely reside with Sponsor.

  2. The Sponsor will be entitled to reasonable revisions on the finished Videos without providing additional compensation. Remember it’s easier to re-edit than re-shoot so try to get as much coverage as possible.

  3. In addition to the standard Tongal W-9, Winner Affidavit, and IP Assignment, winning Video creators MUST also provide Talent, Location, Music (or other) Releases for all assets appearing in their winning Videos, as well as a photograph/headshot OR copy of a photo ID for all On-camera Talent releases.
