Edit a total of three (3) up to :15-second videos for Litographs using existing assets. Two of the videos will be for Facebook Canvas and one will be for Instagram Stories.
For those of you who might be unfamiliar, Litographs makes art from books. Litographs was founded with a vision of bringing your favorite literature off the page, onto your walls, and into your wardrobe.
Litographs is enlisting the Tongal community to re-edit some of their existing assets to create two (2) :15-second videos for Facebook Canvas (can be 1:1 or 16:9) and one (1) :15-second video for Instagram Stories (9:16). They have experienced the most success with static and animated creative that gets across the 'Aha’ moment when a viewer realizes that the text they recognize from a novel, is also used to create the entire design of the t-shirt. Litographs have typically done this by slowly zooming out of a t-shirt photo to create a 'reveal' effect. However, they are open to all fresh and creative ideas, especially those that effectively tap into the feelings that our popular book titles themselves evoke (e.g. The Great Gatsby, Outlander, Alice in Wonderland or Pride & Prejudice).
The challenge is to create a compelling video that delightfully and effectively communicates what a Litograph is to someone who might not have seen it before and also implies that it would make for a superb gift for any book lover... ideally leading to sales in the upcoming holiday period.
Please read the remainder of the brief for all the important details.
The goal of this project is to utilize Litographs current videos, stills and assets to create a total of three :15-second videos: two videos for Facebook Canvas (can be 1:1 or 16:9), and one for Instagram Stories (9:16). It's important that each video complies with the best practices for each platform (see Assets tab).
