Lenovo wants to know YOUR story, based in India, of how its devices have made a significant impact in your daily life and bring your stories to life!

Last year we asked for your Lenovo stories from Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and you’ve delivered in a BIG way from Olof the Reindeer herder in Northern Scandinavia to Jean the student in Germany to Agata the storyteller in Greece and Jukka the Banjo player in Finland.

This time around we're asking for your authentic stories from India. Lenovo wants to know YOUR story of how its devices have made a significant impact in your daily life and bring your stories to life!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • YOU MUST SUBMIT A TRUE STORY. IF SELECTED AS A WINNER, PAYMENT FOR A STORY WIN IS CONTINGENT UPON YOUR COOPERATION WITH THE WINNING FILMMAKER SELECTED TO BRING YOUR STORY TO LIFE. YOU MAY NEED TO APPEAR IN THE FINAL VIDEO. THE VIDEO MAY BE FILMED BETWEEN MARCH – JUNE 2016.
  • IF YOU ARE SUBMITTING A STORY ON BEHALF OF SOMEONE ELSE, YOUR PAYMENT IS CONTINGENT UPON HIS/HER PARTICIPATION. THE FILMMAKER IS NOT REQUIRED TO OFFER ANY COMPENSATION TO THE SUBJECT.
  • You will need to submit an image of yourself using your Lenovo device during the Story Phase.
  • You will also need to submit a Story Authorization Form with your entry. You will be required to sign a Talent Release Form if selected as a winner.
  • Your TRUE Story must be based in India.
  • While you do not need to be a citizen of India, you must be living there.
  • We’re looking for stories that are relatable and show that technology plays a large role in YOUR LIFE.
  • While You DO NEED to own and/or use a Lenovo PC or Tablet device to submit a story, it can be an older model.
  • If selected as a Story winner, Lenovo MAY provide newer product for you to use.
  • Payment for a win in the Story phase is contingent on your completion of the Winner’s Affidavit, the IP Assignment, and cooperation with the winning filmmaker selected to bring your Story to life in the subsequent Pitch Phase. Payment will be held until the Video Phase has completed and the filmmakers confirm your participation.

The goal of this project is to source relatable and engaging TRUE Lenovo Stories that capture the passion and enthusiasm of their subjects and show how Lenovo plays a part in their lives. Stories must be based in India.
