We’re looking for a wildly talented LA-based Artist and need your help! If you know an artist based in Los Angeles, with an impressive portfolio including murals, refer them to us, you could earn $500.

Not only is MyMo Mochi Ice Cream a delicious snack that fits in the palm of your hand, but also, the brand fully embraces the playful and colorful side of life. To keep the playfulness going, they are looking for the next greatest artist to execute a mural on two cement spheres located in the parking lot of their headquarters in Los Angeles, California. We’ve already created the first installment, get a taste of the fun here.

This is where we need your help. We’re looking to YOU to refer an amazingly talented LA-based artist to create the next installation for MyMo Mochi Ice Cream. We’ve already done the heavy lifting and sourced the Concepts, now all we need is the right person to bring them to life. The person who refers a LA-based muralist that we end up working with or selecting as part of this referral project stands to earn $500.

Here’s what you need to know:

• The referrals will be judged on the following criteria: the artist must be based in LA, past work, and overall style.
• You can refer yourself.
• We’re open to the execution – paint, paper mache, etc. 
• We’ll work with the selected artist to determine a budget.
• While the exact date is TBD, the installation will take place in mid to late September at MyMo Mochi Headquarters in Los Angeles, California.

PHASE 1: REFERRAL  – In order to be eligible each submission must include:

• Name of Artist - Please enter this in the TITLE of your submission.
• 500 Characters or Less Summary of who this person is, how you know them, and why you are referring them – Please enter this in the REFERRAL box.
• Location of Artist – They MUST be based in Los Angeles
• Links to previous work such as website, portfolio etc.
• Contact Info of Artist

1. BY SUBMITTING A REFERRAL ENTRY, YOUR SUBMISSION IMMEDIATELY BECOMES THE SOLE PROPERTY OF TONGAL OR ITS ASSIGNEES – SEE OFFICIAL RULES FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES. YOU MAY NOT PUBLICLY SHARE OR PUBLISH YOUR SUBMISSION IN ANY MANNER AND YOU MAY NOT POST OR UPLOAD YOUR SUBMISSION TO ANY WEBSITE OR VIDEO HOSTING SITE (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE OR VIMEO), WITHOUT THE PRIOR EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT OF TONGAL. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF YOUR ENTRY IN THE PROJECT.

2. By submitting to this project, you acknowledge that your work may become subject to public voting on the Tongal site. Public voting may be used to help the project sponsor determine the final rank order.

3. Submissions must be in the English language or subtitled.

4. Limit 5 submissions per member.

5. You must be at least thirteen (13) years or older to enter.

6. In the event that fewer than 25 Referrals are received, the Sponsor reserves the right to repost the contest for up to fourteen (14) days at their discretion.
