Where all the funny people at? It's time to show your comedy chops with humorous concepts for a video about how EBlock's automotive auction site owns the 1:30pm time slot when it comes to buying and selling cars. Yeah, that's right, 1:30pm. In the afternoon. Write it down.

E INC is an automotive company that specializes in both wholesale and retail distribution of automotive vehicles through their digital platforms. They are committed to the development, delivery, and relentless refinement of the online buying experience in order to help maximize efficiency and offer cost savings to buy everyday consumer cars and some high end luxury cars. Their digital dealer-to-dealer auction platform EBlock combines the buying experience that dealers know and love with the extensive online audience that wholesalers demand all in real time. None of what you've just read lends itself to "HILARITY ENSUES!" but stick with us, your time is coming. 

E INC is now looking for some high-energy and comedic concepts that revolve around the fact that their online auctions always - always - start at a set time: 1:30PM PT, and 1:30PM ET, every Tuesday and Thursday. That's so people always know exactly when and where to show up and when the auction starts. Other digital auctions, like eBay, have auctions that run all day long, sometimes for days, which makes it very difficult for buyers because they then need to watch the auction all the time. Not fun. Not only does EBlock not do that, but EBlock always provides a run list before the auction starts which showcases all of the vehicles that will be up for sale in that day's auction. This helps buyers to get prepared and they can even place their max bids prior to the auction.

All that make sense? Awesome. So, we're looking for funny people who can come up with some kind of video concept - maybe it's a sketch, maybe it's a parody, maybe it's really clever visuals - but whatever it is, we want you to try and bring us to tears with laughter. What's funny about timing, you ask? Timing shenanigans abound in life, so maybe it's that you can never, ever, EVER get your significant other to be on time... except when it comes to bidding on EBlock. Or maybe it's that the 1:30pm alarm transforms you into a cheesy car salesman. We don't know - we're not the funny people. Go big. Try weird. Stay clever. Think about action and what might surprise and delight us, and then whatever your concept may be, make sure it's appropriate for a video that runs about 30-60 seconds.

In order to be considered for this project, you must include the below in your concept submission:

• CONCEPT (REQUIRED): Tell us about your concept using up to 250 characters. Your concept should be attention-grabbing. Remember that we're not looking for individual video executions; we need a spark of inspiration or a distillation of what will happen. As always, concepts should be clever and engaging.
  
  
• HELPFUL REFERENCE LINKS (Optional): Have you seen another idea, video or marketing activation that you think makes for a helpful reference? Feel free to include a link to any existing content that'll be useful when trying to understand your Concept.

Five concept submissions will be selected and receive $300 each. Five additional concept submissions will be selected for Honorable Mention, and will receive $50 each. Submissions selected for Honorable Mention will not be used by the client, and not all submissions identified as Finalists will receive an Honorable Mention.

Should your concept be selected, you must complete the Winner Affidavit and IP Assignment forms in order to receive payment. All submitters will also receive an automated email notification when a selection has been announced. To ensure that you’re receiving project updates, review your email settings to check that you haven't unsubscribed.

3. You may not contact any employees or members of the Sponsor’s organization, their affiliates, or any of their partners. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in disqualification of your entry in the project.
   
   
4. Submissions cannot contain any profanity, offensive language, nudity or otherwise objectionable material, the determination of which is solely at the discretion of Sponsor.
   
   
5. Submissions must not portray Sponsor in a negative way, the determination of which will solely reside with Sponsor.
    
6. By submitting to this project, you acknowledge that your work may become subject to public voting on the Tongal site. Public voting may be used to help the project sponsor determine the final rank order.
    
7. Limit 5 submissions per member, per Phase.
    
8. You must be at least thirteen (13) years or older to enter.
   
   
9. The Sponsor reserves the right to repost the contest.
