Create a fun 30-second Video with a 15-second cutdown that introduces consumers to delicious new Nutchello beverages.
It’s three pm and you’re probably not going to make it. Even though it’s the middle of the day, your eyelids seem to think it’s three in the morning. You’re fading fast and you need a pick-me-up. But do you really want another cup of joe packed with enough calories to feed a family of four? What’s a busy, healthy living girl to do?
Say hello to Nutchello. Silk’s tasty nut-based beverage is the perfect pick-me-up to give you back that delicious moment of zen you’ve been missing. This nutty goodness comes in three scrumptious flavors: Caramel Almond Cashew, Dark Chocolate Walnut and Toasted Coconut Cashew. And here’s the best part- they’re all 90 calories or less per serving!
Perhaps you’re asking, “How have I never heard of this enchanting elixir before?” Because it’s brand new! That’s why we need your help. Silk’s looking for some attention-grabbing videos that introduce Nutchello to the world. How can we show women that this yummy beverage is the answer for those three pm cravings?
The goal of this project is to create a fun 30 second Video (with 15 second cutdown) that introduces consumers to delicious new Nutchello beverages. Nutchello’s looking for some funny, lighthearted videos that show this tasty pick-me-up is the perfect beverage to kick off your three pm moment of Zen.
Nutchello comes in three tempting flavors: Caramel Almond Cashew, Dark Chocolate Walnut and Toasted Coconut Cashew. Caramel Almond Cashew is the hero flavor and should be the focus of your Video.
NOTE: The 30 second Videos and 15 second cut-downs are both due at the close of the Video Phase. Please upload them as separate videos when submitting your Videos.
Bumper Note: The Sponsor will provide a 2-3 second bumper for use at the end of your Video. Please plan to incorporate this and make sure it fits into your Videos’ 30 and 15 second runtimes.
--Key Marketing Messages:
--Target Audience: Women, ages 25-45, with disposable income and healthy habits. These consumers strive for moderation in what they eat and are open to trying new things.
--Executional Mandatories:
--Tone: Upbeat, fun and exciting. Humor is highly encouraged but please keep it positive and wholesome. Nutchello is its own unique brand so it should have a different feel than the traditional Silk product spots.
--Exposure: Social sharing platforms (YouTube, Facebook, etc.) and Sponsor’s website.
Product: Product is not currently available in stores but Sponsor will provide samples for pitch winners to use in their Videos.
This Project will be worth a total of $40,000 and consists of three Phases: an Idea Phase, a Pitch Phase and a Video Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.
PHASE 1: IDEA – Tell us your Idea for $250 in 140 characters or less. Remember, an Idea (What is an Idea Phase?) is not a detailed script; it is a spark of inspiration, or a distillation of what will happen in the Video. As always, Ideas should be clever and engaging. The winning Idea creators will receive $250 each and a 5% one-time residual payment for any winning Videos based on their Idea. (That means if your winning Idea is the basis for the 1st place Video, you will receive $600, the 2nd place Video $500, $3rd place Video $412.50 – see Video Phase Payout details for more information.
PHASE 2: PITCH - Submit your Pitch (What is a Pitch Phase?) convincing the Sponsor why you should be selected to execute a Video based on one of the winning Ideas from the previous Phase using:
The three most compelling Pitches will be selected and, upon submitting the Winner’s Affidavit and the IP Assignment, will each receive $3,000 to help create the Video. Additionally, upon submitting a Video that satisfies the criteria laid out in your winning Pitch, the Pitch winners will also be GUARANTEED a winning place in the subsequent Video Phase. So, if your Pitch is selected and you execute your Pitch effectively in your Video submission, you will win an additional $8,250, at a minimum, and have a chance to compete for the $12,000 First Place video prize (subject to deduction for one-time 5% residual payment to eligible Idea winners). For an example of an effective Pitch, check out The Indie Machines winning “3 Artists & 5,000 LEGOs” Pitch video. All Pitches will remain private until after the winner of the Video Phase is announced and the Project is complete.
PHASE 3: VIDEO – The three winners from the Pitch Phase will each create a 30 second Video (and 15 second cutdown) based upon their winning Pitch.
NOTE: The 30 second Videos and 15 second cut-downs are both due at the close of the Video Phase. Please upload them as separate videos when submitting your Videos.
The Judges will score the three winning Videos submitted by Pitch winners to determine the standings for the Video Phase. Remember, the three Pitch winners will receive prizes.
--Video Phase Payout: Winners of the Video Phase will earn the following prizes: 1st place $12,000 and 2nd place $10,000 and 3rd place $8,250 (less any 5% one-time residual payments paid to the Idea winners as applicable).
--Music: Tongal has partnered with three premiere music providers: Audioblocks, Killer Tracks and Epidemic Sound. Any of which can be used to source music for your Video submission to this Project. Music from these providers is available to registered Tongal members at no charge solely for their incorporation into Submissions to this Project and will not require a separate Music Release Form. To learn more about using each of these music providers, click on any of the provider’s names above.
Tongal members interested in a custom music solution for your project are invited to connect with SCORE A SCORE. They specialize in the creation of custom music, on-demand.

If you are selected as a winner and choose to use custom/original music, you must fill out and submit our Music Release Form.
