Go Bonza! Video Project

Create a video that raises awareness for Bonza and convinces moms that Bonza is a fun and convenient yogurt snack that will keep up with her active kids.
What if the Goonies had never followed One Eyed Willy’s treasure map? Or what if Benny had decided he’d rather answer his mom’s calls for “dinner time” than jump the fence to steal back Smalls’ Babe Ruth signed ball in the Sandlot? Or if Elliot had decided he was a little too tired to bike E.T. all the way to the forest?
What would have happened in our favorites movies if those characters hadn’t had the energy to keep up with the action?
For kids, everyday adventures are anything but average. And they need fuel to keep them going, whether they want to stop the fun for snack time or not. Lucky for moms everywhere, Bonza has created a convenient, one handed yogurt (with 5 grams of protein) so kids won’t need to take a pit stop in order to refuel.
Whether your kid is saving the neighborhood from the Fratellis or saving his tree house from his “evil” big sister, Bonza will keep his adventures going with a fun, portable, and delicious protein-packed snack.

Create a video that raises awareness for Bonza and convinces moms that Bonza is a fun and convenient yogurt snack that will keep up with her active kids.
Bonza is a "one-handed yogurt" with 5 grams of protein. Active kids don't have to stop the adventure in order to refuel, and moms know her kids will love it.
The goal of this project is to raise awareness for Bonza through high energy, engaging 30 second videos (with 15 second cut-downs). Your video should convince moms that Bonza is a fun and convenient snack that will keep up with her active kids (and that her kid will actually like).
Bonza is open to parody ideas, but would also would love to see original ideas in the spirit of Goonies or Sandlot. Since there's no Idea Phase, make sure you're clearly outlining your concept in your Pitch.
NOTE: The 30 second video and 15 second cut-down are both due at the close of the Video Phase. Please upload them as separate videos when submitting your Videos.
--Key Marketing Messages:
--Target Audience: Moms with active kids around 7 years old.
The Bonza mom’s life is centered around her kids and her work. She embraces her fast-paced and sometimes chaotic life, and is constantly looking for ways to channel her kids’ energy. She loves that her kid prefers being active, like playing sports, riding his bike, or going on backyard adventures. But when it’s time to eat, her kid isn’t always ready to end the mission, so she favors wholesome snacks that he can take on the go. She loves the convenience first, followed by health and cost. And the best part is, her kid loves it too!
--Executional Mandatories:
--Tone: Tone should be active, fun, playful and bold (think “The Sandlot” or “Goonies”). Videos should appeal to both mom and her kids.
--Exposure: Intended for use on digital and social. If you hit it out of the park, your video may be supported by an ad buy!
--Product: Product is not available in stores but will be made available to Pitch winners. Your video should include a pack shot or bumper that displays at least two flavors or the entire array of flavors (Strawberry and Watermelon are high priority). High resolution assets will also be made available to Pitch winners.
This Project will be worth a total of $25,000 and consists of 2 Phases: a Pitch Phase and a Video Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.
PHASE 1: PITCH - Submit your Pitch (What Is a Pitch Phase?) convincing the Sponsor why you should be selected to execute a Video based on one of the winning Ideas from the previous Phase using:
The 2 most compelling Pitches will be selected and, upon submitting the Winner’s Affidavit and the IP Assignment, will each receive $4,000 to help create the Video. Additionally, upon submitting a Video that satisfies the criteria laid out in your winning Pitch, the Pitch winners will also be GUARANTEED a winning place in the subsequent Video Phase. So, if your Pitch is selected and you execute your Pitch effectively in your Video submission, you will win an additional $6,000, at a minimum, and have a chance to compete for the $11,000 First Place video prize (subject to deduction for one-time 5% residual payment to eligible Idea winners). For an example of an effective Pitch, check out Erik Beck’s winning “3 Artists & 5,000 LEGOs” Pitch video. All Pitches will remain private until after the winner of the Video Phase is announced and the Project is complete.
PHASE 2: VIDEO – The 2 winners from the Pitch Phase will each create a 30 – 60 second Video based upon their winning Pitch.
NOTE: The 30 second video and 15 second cut-down are both due at the close of the Video Phase. Please upload them as separate videos when submitting your Videos.
The Judges will score the 2 winning Videos submitted by Pitch winners to determine the standings for the Video Phase. Remember, the 2 Pitch winners will receive prizes.
--Video Phase Payout: Winners of the Video Phase will earn the following prizes: 1st place $11,000 and 2nd place $6,000 (less any 5% one-time residual payments paid to the Idea winners, as applicable).
--Music: Tongal has partnered with three premiere music providers: Audioblocks, Killer Tracks and Epidemic Sound. Any of which can be used to source music for your Video submission to this Project. You may use up to THREE total tracks per Video submission, and they can come from any of the three providers listed above. Music from these providers is available to registered Tongal members at no charge solely for their incorporation into Submissions to this Project and will not require a separate Music Release Form.
