Create an original looping video (in the style of a GIF or Boomerang) that reveals the Tongal Logo or our #MadeOnTongal hashtag in a creative, eye-catching way for the opportunity to earn a MasterClass All-Access pass.

The goal of this project is to source original, visually-engaging 5-10 second looping videos that feature either the Tongal logo or the #MadeOnTongal hashtag (your choice!). 

Looping videos (or GIFs/Boomerangs/Cinemagraphs) are magical little pieces of content that make all other images in your feed seem ordinary. They usually share one or more of the following qualities: relatability, humor, a fun aesthetic, or weirdness that verges on utter perfection. Don’t stress too much about the differences between these formats; each is a short, visual loop that offers us ways to deliver bite-sized entertainment to our friends/audiences. 

Now, we want you to come up with your own visually exciting and design-savvy looping videos for Tongal’s social channels that reveal the Tongal logo or #MadeOnTongal in creative and surprising ways. You are free to use any third-party apps or software to create your looping video.

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES: 

• Your 5-10-second looping video must be completely original. Please do not use any copyrighted materials (our logo is, obviously, fair game). We recommend designing your looping video with the following video aspect ratios in mind: 16x9, 1x1, or 4x5.
• The video MUST include either the Tongal logo or the hashtag #MadeOnTongal. The logo or hashtag MUST be readable and visually distinct from the background (i.e. the logo should not completely blend into the environment -- it’s an essential part of the creative). 
• The design of the Tongal logo is open to your interpretation, but its final form MUST reflect our horizontal logo (i.e. we aren’t looking for a new logo design, but the style/medium the logo is rendered in is open to interpretation). The Tongal logo has been provided in the Assets tab below for your use. 
• AVOID typography that isn’t related to the T-O-N-G-A-L of the Tongal logo or #MadeOnTongal.
• AVOID using audio of any kind.
• By submitting, you are granting Tongal permission to share your work across our channels, however you will retain the rights to your submission. Please do not upload your submission anywhere else until selected submissions have been announced and this Project has closed. Thank you!

Each week between now and early August, we’re launching a 6-part series of ‘just-for-fun’ projects designed to fire up your imagination, push your creative boundaries, and build camaraderie between you and your fellow Tongal creators.

• Note: Tongal swag may be substituted with payments of its approximate retail value (“ARV”) for selected creators living outside the United States.

• SOCIAL HANDLES (OPTIONAL): Link to your social handles so we can tag you if your Submission is selected.

The 5 most compelling Submissions will be greenlit, and upon submitting the Winner’s Affidavit and the IP Assignment, the responsible creator will receive the Awards outlined above.

1. Preferred format for upload to the Tongal website is HD 1080p 16x9. Acceptable file formats are .mov, .avi, .mp4, .wmv. Acceptable codecs are H.264 (MP4), MPEG-4, H.263, MPGV, WMV, DivX.
   
   
2. Unless provided otherwise, all work must be your own original creation and free of any copyrighted material. You shall provide detailed information of your work regarding the source, the creator and background information as requested by Tongal.
   
   
3. In the event you utilize any third-party materials, such as music provided by a third-party music provider not provided by Tongal, you must obtain full written license and consent from the owner of such third-party materials and provide such license and consent forms to Tongal.
   
   
4. BY SUBMITTING A VIDEO ENTRY, YOUR SUBMISSION IMMEDIATELY BECOMES THE SOLE PROPERTY OF TONGAL OR ITS ASSIGNEES – SEE OFFICIAL RULES FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES. YOU MAY NOT PUBLICLY SHARE OR PUBLISH YOUR SUBMISSION IN ANY MANNER AND YOU MAY NOT POST OR UPLOAD YOUR SUBMISSION TO ANY WEBSITE OR VIDEO HOSTING SITE (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE OR VIMEO), WITHOUT THE PRIOR EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT OF TONGAL. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF YOUR ENTRY IN THE PROJECT.
   
   
5. Submissions cannot contain any profanity, offensive language, nudity or otherwise objectionable material, the determination of which is solely at the discretion of Sponsor.
   
   
6. Submissions must not portray Sponsor in a negative way, the determination of which will solely reside with Sponsor.
    
7. By submitting to this project, you acknowledge that your work may become subject to public voting on the Tongal site. Public voting may be used to help the project sponsor determine the final rank order.
    
8. Videos must be in the English language or subtitled.
    
9. Limit 5 submissions per member, per Phase.
    
10. You must be at least thirteen (13) years or older to enter.
    
    
11. The Sponsor reserves the right to repost the contest.
    
    
12. In addition to the judging criteria stated in the OFFICIAL RULES, Pitches will also be evaluated on that member's ability to execute the final Video based on their prior work and experience as a filmmaker.
