Create seven 15-second Thanksgiving recipe videos for French’s Fried Onions. Five videos will be stop motion while two will be live action.
Why is Thanksgiving the greatest holiday? Sure there’s the quality time with friends and family and the bonanza of football, but like many things in life what it truly comes down to is the food. There’s the turkey of course but what Thanksgiving is REALLY about is the SIDES in all their delectable awesomeness.
One of those staple dishes that is essential to any Thanksgiving meal is Green Bean Casserole. Created in 1955 by Dorcas Reilly, the key ingredient that pulls it all together and takes it from a really good dish to an epic food memory is French’s Crispy Fried Onions. They provide that big flavorful crunch that elevates it from just another tasty casserole to a symphony of texture and flavors you can’t resist.
However, Green Bean Casserole isn’t the only Thanksgiving dish that French’s Fried Onions (FFO) takes to the next level. FFO has what they call RANGE and that’s exactly why they are turning to the Tongal community. They want you to create seven Thanksgiving recipe videos that will show off their versatility and deliciousness. Please read the remainder of the brief for all of the important details.
The goal of this project is to create engaging Thanksgiving recipe videos that feature French’s Fried Onions. The videos should create appetite appeal, have a fun energy, and feel natural and accessible. In addition, they need to emphasize French’s Fried Onions two key product benefits: the irresistible flavor and crunch.
One producer will be required to deliver five 15-second stop motion videos, two 15-30 second live action videos, and 20 high-resolution photos that can be lifted from the video footage. For more details please see the Deliverables section at the bottom of this section.
***PLEASE NOTE that the Pitch winner will need to be available for a kickoff call with the brand on August 27 or August 28. In addition, all Pitch submissions must include samples from the food stylist you plan to work with.***

You can show midsections and hands. The setting and environment should immediately read Thanksgiving.
The two 15-30 second live action videos should show some preparation and feature a family and friends enjoying the Thanksgiving meal. Faces must be shown in these videos. The two recipes to be featured are Green Bean Casserole (Original Onions) and Crunchy Onion Bacon Potatoes (Original Onions).
The brand will provide a breakdown to the Pitch winner of how they’d like the 20 still photos divided among the seven recipes.
