You already love to follow Tongal across all our social channels (right?!). Now we're looking to YOU to help create the content you want to see on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. This is an on-going initiative with plenty of opportunities to make your mark, so fire up your social synapses and stay awhile!

As we all know, things on social media happen quickly and trends come and go in the blink of an eye. But with a global community of over 160,000 brilliant minds, we know that Tongalers have a pulse on what matters most to creators everywhere. Give us your AWESOME content and become part of the digital conversation. We’ll be checking submissions throughout the month and may award yours early if it’s tied to a trending topic.

What are we looking for:

• Original images, videos, and GIFs that are ready-to-share on Tongal’s existing social channels
• Educational content that shows off how your favorite films or TV shows achieved an effect (example: Forced perspective in Elf)
• Content that creatively promotes and helps other creators discover the Tongal website, our projects, or resources  (example: Highlighting community-written blog posts on Insta)
• Trending memes to which you’ve given a Tongal twist (example: Tongal x YouTube Rewind Mash Up)
• Quick testimonials telling us what you love about Tongal
• :15 vertical videos that we can feature during our weekly Instagram Stories shows, Winner Wednesday or This Week on Tongal (or completely original vids for a new show/segment)
• BTS pics of your own creative projects - or Tongal projects. Show us what #SetLife is all about (focus on your crew, not the client/brand. Here are examples from our feed.)
• Illustrations or comics that speak to our community

The goal of this project is to identify at least 10 ready-to-post submissions for Tongal’s social channels. Go ahead, check out what we’ve already posted at the links below and think about how you can help keep the party going.

If we select your submission, you get paid and we’ll tag you on the channel where it’s posted! 

--Exposure: Tongal social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube)

This Project will be worth a total of $250 and consists of a Social Asset Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.

PHASE 1: SOCIAL ASSET – Create an original social media asset (image, video, or GIF) to be used on one of Tongal’s existing social channels. You also have the option to include a note about your submission (great for adding suggested copy too!), which channel you think it should live on, and your social handles so we can tag you if we select your submission. Ten Winning Social Asset creators will receive $25 each. International entrants are strongly encouraged to update their Payment settings to ‘PayPal’ in order to avoid higher wire transfer fees.

Some important specs to keep in mind:

• Facebook + Twitter: Images - 1200x630 or 1080x1080; Videos - 1080x1080 or 1920x1080
• Instagram: In-Feed posts - 1080x1080 or 1080×1350; Stories - 1080x1920
• YouTube: 1920x1080

1. Unless provided otherwise, all work must be your own original creation and free of any copyrighted material. You shall provide detailed information of your work regarding the source, the creator and background information as requested by Tongal.

2. BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, YOUR SUBMISSION IMMEDIATELY BECOMES THE SOLE PROPERTY OF TONGAL OR ITS ASSIGNEES – SEE OFFICIAL RULES FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES. YOU MAY NOT PUBLICLY SHARE OR PUBLISH YOUR SUBMISSION IN ANY MANNER AND YOU MAY NOT POST OR UPLOAD YOUR SUBMISSION TO ANY WEBSITE OR VIDEO HOSTING SITE (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE OR VIMEO), WITHOUT THE PRIOR EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT OF TONGAL. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF YOUR ENTRY IN THE PROJECT.

3. Submissions cannot contain any profanity, offensive language, nudity or otherwise objectionable material, the determination of which is solely at the discretion of Sponsor.

4. Submissions must not portray Sponsor in a negative way, the determination of which will solely reside with Sponsor.

5. By submitting to this project, you acknowledge that your work may become subject to public voting on the Tongal site. Public voting may be used to help the project sponsor determine the final rank order.

6. Limit 10 submissions per member.

7. You must be at least thirteen (13) years or older to enter.

8. The Sponsor reserves the right to repost the contest at their discretion.

9. Winners must submit the standard Tongal W-9, Winner Affidavit, and IP Assignment.
