Evergreen Video Series Concept Project
Concept
06/09/25 - 06/16/25

Submit concepts for a series of evergreen :30 videos that can be tailored to every season to highlight Burlington's great brands and WOW prices on a wide selection of items your family wants and needs.

Burlington is one of the largest off-price retailers in the United States. It is the place to go for people who want to shop for great brands at even greater prices, and over the past 50 years, Burlington has consistently WOWED their customers with the quality and breadth of their inventory. From home decor to brand-name clothing for the whole family, and items for babies and pets, Burlington is a must-visit destination for price-savvy customers who refuse to budge on quality. With their legacy and loyalty of providing great deals, why would anyone want to shop somewhere else?

With the variety of clothing and products that Burlington carries, they're constantly looking to refresh their content to focus on what's most relevant at different times of year. To that end, Burlington is looking to create a series of evergreen :30 videos that can be used year-round, and are flexible enough to be tailored to reflect the unique essence, emotion, and merchandise of each season. The goal of this project is to come up with the conceptual "hook" that ties everything together and makes each video in the series feel like it's part of a cohesive story. Creatively, that could be some sort of narrative, a character-driven setup, or a musically-motivated tactic, but they're open to any sort of approach. The videos themselves will be used during their respective seasons to showcase how Burlington has everything you and your family needs or wants, all at unbeatable prices. Each video will follow the same format: an opening to hook the audience, a season-specific middle, and a closing that MUST end on the Burlington tagline, which is: Burlington. Deals. Brands. Wow!

When writing up your concepts, make sure to detail how they can be used for both the opening and closing of the video, and how they would transition into and out of season-specific messaging in the middle. Your concept should give us a sense of who the talent will be in the video. You can include scenarios where we see the talent interact with Burlington products in a store environment, home environment, or lifestyle moment.

Here are some potential areas to explore (although you should NOT let these limit you!):

  • With so many amazing brands at unbelievable prices, a trip to Burlington can make you feel like you've just won shopping.
  • With new products every week, Burlington's buyers (aka their internal merchandise team) bring you the lowest prices, greatest deals, and WOW trends.
  • With almost everything you and your family wants and needs in one store and in your budget, why would you shop anywhere else?
