Keeping the same modern edginess and energy that has come to be associated with T-Mobile, create a suite of eye-catching animated videos and static photos for some of the year-round offers that T-Mobile has for its employees.
T-Mobile employees post about T-Mobile on social media all the time, and when they do, they want to show up with cool content too, especially when it comes to talking about the amazing stuff the company offers - whether we're talking benefits, products, features, or phones. That's probably no surprise for you though, because Tongal's been creating content for them - in projects just like this - for quite some time. What's new this time around is that we're refining our creative direction a bit to reflect the style of content that T-Mobile has responded to most often, to make sure you hit closer to the mark, and that we keep seeing new creators in the mix.
For subject matter this time around, T-Mobile is promoting its latest "evergreen" offerings, such as their 5G Home Internet service, their global cell coverage, and the unique phone plans they have. The goal here is to produce a suite of content - both videos, and static images - to promote three distinct T-Mobile offerings, which we cover in the Background. Ultimately, you'll create multiple pieces of content to promote each offering, but we'll break it all down in greater detail after creators are selected.
We're aiming for something that feels a little more modern, slick, edgy, confident, and cool. Think about designs that bring a dynamic energy that almost feels electric, and that's tech-forward in its design aesthetic, with slick visuals - perhaps a little unexpected playfulness, but nothing that you'd really call "quirky" or "corporate." We expect that you'll want to lean heavily on 2D animation and mixed media styles, and 3D if it makes sense, but motion text alone doesn't feel like it'd be enough, and if you're using stock imagery or video, you'd have to do something transformative with it. Stop motion and papercraft probably feel a little too DIY for this. Highly recommend you check out links in the Background to see what T-Mobile's had created lately.
In terms of the assets, the videos can range in length from :05 to :20, but it would be good if you planned for the fact that they will loop when used. The images won't be screengrabs, but tailor-made unique assets, although they should obviously feel like part of a coherent suite with the videos. Your messaging should be pretty simple and straightforward - we want the artistry of the asset to shine, and hook audiences, so that that simple message lands.
In order to still bring different artistic perspectives, two creators will be chosen for this project. Keep in mind that this is primarily for T-Mobile employees to share too; they will do so on their personal social media accounts for their family, friends, and professional contacts. That's why it's gotta be cool.
For your pitch, we'd request that you submit a proof of concept / first draft of an image for the AAA asset along with your Treatment. We'll need to deliver several AAA assets by Friday, 05/05, so that's a top priority. For any questions or other project updates, check out the Project Forum.

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES:
By participating in this project, creators acknowledge that the Sponsor is under no obligation to greenlight a submission. Though most projects on our platform do move forward, we will notify you in the event the Sponsor decides not to fund any submissions via the project forum. Regardless of the result, all submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and the project team.
T-MOIBLE OFFERINGS AND KEY MESSAGING: You don't need to include all the bullet points for each of the offers messaging, but it should help demonstrate how they're discussing their offers. It's likely that you may create more than one asset with the same messaging - that's okay - we're trying to provide a diverse range of options for T-Mobile employees to use when they post on social media.
#1- T-Mobile's 5G Network & AAA Partnership - You *may* create 1 video for this, but you'll definitely create at least 3 images.
#2 - Travel Benefits and "Coverage Beyond" Offering - You'll likely create 1 video for this, and at least 3 images.
#3 - T-Mobile 5G Home Internet - You'll likely create 1 video for this, and at least 3 images.
PREVIOUS T-MOBILE CONTENT: This is some of the recent video and image content created on Tongal, and they're all great examples of the style we're looking for, but still showcase how much diversity is possible.
