Create a modern, stylish, and unexpected animation that encapsulates T-Mobile's accomplishments for the first quarter of 2023.

While you're probably not waiting around for corporate quarterly reports, the T-Mobile team is undoubtedly excited about their upcoming report, and they're excited to post all about it on their social media. They're so excited that, as usual, they're looking for someone who can create an eye-catching and stylish video that summarizes all of the key accomplishments in this upcoming release. That someone is you.

The goal of this project is to create a video that's modern, bright, energetic, and eye-catching, encapsulating a lot of key messaging text into some sort of unexpected format that will get people excited. We figure this'll be around :20 in length, and it should definitely be designed to loop.

T-Mobile content is always a lot of fun, and they're open to all kinds of concepts and formats, including hand-drawn art, mixed media, animations, and motion graphics. As you can see from this recent quarterly reports GIF, your video will need to cover a variety of accomplishments, one after the other, therefore you'll need some sort of innovative visual tool that enables you to effectively highlight each accomplishment before moving on to the next one. We've included several other recent examples in the Background that give you a sense of what we mean by "stylish," so you should definitely check those out.

If chosen, we'll send you an NDA and a list of the accomplishments they want to talk about. It's important to remember that the whole T-Mobile staff will be sharing this on their personal social media pages for their loved ones, friends, and professional contacts. Therefore, your video cannot feel very corporate, like a bland motion graphic explainer video. Sure, polished and professional, but it's more about alluding to coolness and intrigue, even a little quirkiness. This should not feel like an "ad".

For your pitch submission, it would help to see a sample design that illustrates what you're thinking, but you should also clearly describe the creative approach you would take to showcase all the stats. Feel free to throw in a few different creative options too, so the brand can pivot if they really like your past work, but aren't in love with your primary creative approach. For any questions or other project updates, check out the Project Forum.

  • T-Mobile employee social feeds include LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES:

You should adhere to certain elements of the T-Mobile brand guidelines which will be shared with the selected creator. In the meantime, a few specific callouts are below:

  • Other primary brand colors are Dark Magenta (#861B54), Dark Gray (#6A6A6A), Light Gray (#E8E8E8), Black (#000000), and White (#FFFFFF).
  • The official brand font is TeleNeo; the font will be provided to the selected creator.
  • Your video should avoid competitor colors (e.g. Verizon's reds, AT&T's blues).

By participating in this project, creators acknowledge that the Sponsor is under no obligation to greenlight a submission. Though most projects on our platform do move forward, we will notify you in the event the Sponsor decides not to fund any submissions via the project forum. Regardless of the result, all submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and the project team.

Here are some PREVIOUS achievements and stats from the 4th quarter of 2022, which you can use to help layout or visualize your approach. These will be updated once the report is available. Note the heavily stylized approach in this video, which tapped into Tetris being in the news to provide a unique visual aesthetic, even if Tetris played no role in the messaging.

To learn more about using each of these music providers, click on any of the providers’ names above.

If you choose to use custom/original music, you must fill out and submit our Music Release Form. If you obtain music from third-party catalog providers, you must purchase the appropriate license at your own expense and submit it with your license purchase receipt when you turn in your video paperwork.
