Using the iconic Chucky doll, design a poster to celebrate two upcoming holidays - Christmas and New Year's Eve - drawing inspiration from USA & SYFY's Chucky TV series, and encouraging viewers to stream the series on Peacock.

'Tis the season to get Chucked-up! Now that the first half of season 3 of USA & SYFY's Chucky TV Series has finished airing, USA & SYFY are looking for two different artists to each design one holiday poster that showcases Chucky - in all his gory glory - getting in the holiday spirit. Specifically, we're looking for posters that celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve. USA & SYFY will ultimately assign each greenlit artist to one holiday, but if you have great ideas for both, we encourage you to submit multiple pitches.

We're looking for people who are talented designers and artists, but we're also looking for people who are overall fans of Chucky. Chucky is one of the most famous dolls in pop culture, and his slashing, conniving methods of terror have left the horror genre forever scarred. Your design should pay homage to Chucky's legacy, while cleverly incorporating content and themes from your assigned holiday. Importantly, your poster design should NOT be tied to the events of season 3; instead, your design should be a celebration of the Chucky TV series as whole and tap into the nostalgia that people have for the franchise. While Chucky should be the hero of your design, other dolls featured in the series - like the Tiffany doll and GG doll - can be included as well (official reference images of the dolls will be provided to the greenlit artists). Importantly, your design CANNOT feature the likenesses of any actors in the Chucky TV series.

For your pitch, we'd like you to give us a clear idea of the visual approach that you're going for, so we're asking that you submit links to your artist portfolio, along with a PDF document containing three examples of past work that are representative of the artistic style you'd use to create your design. We're looking for a variety of styles and aesthetics here, so you are welcome to showcase different artistic variations if you have the capability. The important part is giving us an idea of how your personal style and the Chucky universe intersect. To that end, you also have the option to submit a proof-of-concept image if you think that's helpful.

Please note that this project is fast moving! Check out the project timeline for more information.

Check out more details in the Background section, or reach out in the Project Forum if you have any questions.

The Chucky TV Series Holiday Poster Design Project is open for submissions from 12:00 PM PT on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023, to 12:00 PM PT on Wednesday, November 15th, 2023. Submissions not received within this time period will be disqualified. See Official Rules and requirements for eligibility and other requirements.

USA & SYFY's Chucky TV series is helmed by Child's Play creator Don Mancini and features several fan-favorite cast members like Jennifer Tilly and Brad Dourif (the original voice of Chucky). If you need to play catch up, check out the official Chucky page on SYFY's website.

Be sure to check out the winning designs of other Chucky projects we've done with USA & SYFY in the past to get your creative juices flowing. USA & SYFY are NOT looking for replicas of any style in particular here. Instead, these should give you a sense of the breadth of artistic styles and overall quality level that we're looking for.
