I am an independent filmmaker, photographer and traveler from Cape Town, South Africa. I specialize in writing, directing and editing. I am an adventurer and explorer at heart. I like to hear stories, see stories and tell stories. I have a great passion for art, music and traveling. I started filmmaking in 2011 while still in high school. In 2013 I started studying BA Film Arts at The Open Window Institute of Film Arts in Centurion, Pretoria. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Film Arts in 2015. I created my first short film, Coffee at the end of 2013 which shortly afterwards got international recognition. In April 2014 I was awarded the Best New Talent Award at the 2014 National Film Festival for Talented Youth in Seattle, USA and in January 2015 I got selected as a Sundance Short Film Challenge winner.
