I have been a freelance stagehand for concerts and theater for about 11 years. The term stagehand doesnt begin to cover everything I do for work...haha Lets see- Ive done lights, props, wardrobe, sound, scenic painting, set construction, sewn backdrops and stage curtains/legs/borders, have been a stage manager, and I shoot and edit PR videos for the Virginia Opera with my husband. We also make music videos for bands, and of our own music. I am also an artist who draws, paints, sculpts, photographs, makes music, writes, sings, and animates. I was fortunate to grow up in a very creative and supportive family If not for them, who knows where I wouldve gone in life? I couldve ended up being an IMAX Screen Cleaner...and that just wouldve been weird. One note- why are all my apostrophes gone? haha Tongal seems to hate contractions.
