In 200405, Thomas attended film school in Prague, where he shot 10 short films as cinematographer and one as directorreceiving many kudos from his professors, who encouraged his avant-garde approach and search for a new age storytelling language. His short film Rich Mans World, a visual poem composed to a blend of Indian classical and western music played at Syracuse Film Festival.
