My name is Tarik Dobbs and I am a cinematographer and filmmaker from Dearborn, MI. I have been involved in filmmaking for four years as a student in the WDHS Student Video Program at Dearborn High School. In those four years, I have been involved in the production of over 20 short videos, and I have worked on two feature films: Winnerman, which I edited, was produced in the 2012-2013 school year, and The 49 Cent Store, which I am shooting, is currently in production. In addition, I am actively involved in the production of short videos with other students throughout the year. I release a new short every one to two months. I intend to continue my education in film at a university after I graduate high school, in production. From there, Id like to pursue a career in filmmaking, either in television or in feature films. I am currently employed as a Photographer at TCS Pictures. Also, visit WDHSvideo.org to learn more about WDHS Student Video.
