Stacy lives in Los Angeles where she directs narrative and commercial projects. When it comes to the eye for the shot, she expanded her frame composition, skills, and knowledge of cinematography while teaching movie-making at Southwestern IL College. She was able to enhance her students’ vision while breathing life into her own camera style. After moving to Los Angeles and directing projects on a freelance basis, she was told by an actor that it was their, ‘best work on camera’. Seeing how in depth she could affect someone sparked her interest to focus on narrative directing. She directs with an acting eye. She tells stories in gratifying ways. She is patient and will find what people need to activate their inspiration and freedom. Love of performance mixed with a defined style of cinematography is the course that she’s been on since.
