About me

Shannon Schnittker grew up in the rolling hills of Eastern Kansas, the landscape a blank canvas to project her dreams upon. A born dancer, her relationship with space, light & movement developed into a keen interest of cinematography and story telling through film. She created her first series of films at New York University which fueled her storytelling and quest to live a great adventure. Her undergraduate studies took her to the USC School of Cinematic Arts for a B.A. in Film Production, where she was named a USC Global Fellow Ambassador in 2011 and sent to teach in Hong Kong. She spent her summers working in the unique film industries of France, China, New Zealand & England. As a writer/director, she loves the development phase of filmmaking and how that translates into Production. Most recently, Shannon has been selected to produce Travel content as a Matador Network Ambassador.
